Glasses: Who Needs 'Em? Hardcover – May 17, 2006

My son has a serious eye condition and is getting ready to undergo eye surgery. The eye condition has also caused him to go nearsighted in his right eye so he was just measured for glasses last week. He is TERRIFIED about having glasses because he is only 6 and is in Kindergarten. Not a lot of kids his age are in glasses already, so he is afraid of getting made fun of at school. I purchased this book because it looked like a unique look at glasses. He absolutely loved this book. It is such a snarky book....very hilarious. I really enjoyed it too due to the main characters are huge smart a@@es. A fun read for anyone, but this will be extra special for anyone with glasses.

Wonderful book -- whimsical and engaging for children and adults. I saw a copy in my eye doctor's waiting room. The text is witty and the artwork is so marvelously inspiring! After my appointment I went home and ordered a copy for me and one for an artist friend.

Purchased this book, listed as "Good quality" gently used.. Arrived with torn spine, pages loose and corners worn out... Terrible quality, should have been paper recycled not sold again. Story is cute in helping a child relate to their new glasses, but would never purchase from this vendor again.

Really enjoyable, humorous book. Modern, edgy artwork.
