DR. ALKAITISOrganic Herbal Shampoo, 8 Fl Oz

I absolutely love this shampoo. The smell is a little strong and smells like black licorice, but I don't mind it. The only complaint I have is the price. Sadly, I will have to look elsewhere for an organic shampoo because $50 for a 8 fl. oz. bottle is out of my budget but if you can afford it and you don't think you'll mind the smell, definitely try this shampoo. I recommend you pair this with a conditioner because the shampoo alone does not leave your hair soft or manageable.

Very good for alopecia and hair loss

I generally like this Dr. Alkaitis product - it cleans well, rinses easily and isn't harsh on my coarse hair. Only thing I really don't like is the fragrance...it's almost medicinal with a hint of a road tar smell, and it lingers long after my hair is dry.Otherwise, except for the fragrance, this is a great product for dry and damaged hair, and if you're okay with the fragrance, it's worth a try.

I really like the shampoo. In contrast to other reviewers I rather enjoy the botanical aroma. The delivery however was terrible. It came without a box and leaking. Not something I’d expect when I pay full price. Not to mention when that full price is 50 bucks for a bottle of shampoo. Bad Amazon.

This is stuff is great. I mean it's just 100% organic ingredients and it works, you get what you pay for! It doesn't have the most pleasant scent, however, I always use an organic conditioner after using the shampoo and that always leaves my hair with a nice smell. This is extremely expensive for a shampoo which is why I use it sparingly. I wouldn't consider this an everyday shampoo, I use it when I haven't washed my hair for a few days and it's really dirty and messy. Thumbs up.

It works well but it has a strong smell and bit irritating for the eyes while showering.

Love Dr. Alkalis products! Note about the Organic Herbal Shampoo: I use it more for maintenance, maybe once a week. It's a deep cleaning. The rest of the week I use another organic shampoo product. This is pricey -- so use it once a week or so and it works out just fine.

I found Dr Alkaitis Organic Herbal Shampoo fantastic. Smells amazing and it's very soothing for itchy dry scalps. I have been using this shampoo for 3 weeks and my hair feels silky, lush and shiny! I would recommend using a conditioner with this shampoo.
