Very Very Good
Brought to replace my dell wired keyboard that I use for working from home, the keyboard feels very high quality and allows for 3 different types of connection to your PC or laptop. I now have mine connected to my work laptop via Bluetooth and my gaming PC via the included 2.4g dongle, this allows for easily swapping between both even if my work laptop is still running. The product came well packaged with some simple instructions on keyboard shortcuts and how to adjust the backlighting effects and brightness, although this is easily controlled on the keyboard using the display and the knob. I have been using this daily for about 2 weeks now and the battery has only dropped 20% according to the built in display. You can also see the battery percentage in Windows if connected via Bluetooth if you really wanted to.

Cannot recommend more
Cannot recommend more. I love the sound so much and makes a lovely noise. It's more weighty then I expected in the best way. It feels like such great quality, heavy. The battery life lasts for weeks if not months. The lighting options were a bit finicky but great. I love the red since it matches my pc. The light and the sides can be customised.

Was very nice, until 1 month later
Update 2: I stand corrected. Not 24 hours after i updated this review to say i had no reliability issues, my keboard died. I suspect the internal circuitry is sub-par, since there are 2 warning stickers on this keyboard saying not to use any fast chargers or chargers that deliver more than 5V 500mA, which i believe includes USB 3.0 ports, so be careful to make sure you dont plug it into anything that exceeds those specs. A shame really. I saw similar negative reviews and thought "that was a fluke. it wont happen to me", but it seems to have happened to me faster than most. Right now, I've only had this keyboard for a few days, but I have to say that already I'm very happy! I know this keyboard has had a good chunk of bad reviews about longevity though, so ill update in due course if it fails, but right now I see no issues. UPDATE: its been a month of using this keyboard now, and I've had pretty much no issues! the one thing I do think is worth mentioning, is the fact that the height of this keyboard compared to my M87 does result in some discomfort after long usage, but I've got very small hands, so seems to be possibly a preference thing. NOTE: For the purposes of this review, I will be drawing on comparison with other keyboards and keyswitches ive used, mainly including the Royal Kludge M87 (cream switches) and Redragon K552 (blue switches). Key Switches: Right off the bat, this keyboard definitely has that creamy sound to it. Its less "sharp" than the switches on the M87, with more of a softer "thock" than the "snap" of those cream switches. The volume is also about 80% as loud, which is nice for me as I wanted the creamy sound / feel, but without as much chance of waking up the people I live with as I type at 1am. Overall, these are my favourite sounding / feeling key switches, with the feel only slightly marred by a minor construction quirk that we'll get into next Construction + Feel: Overall, the build quality is very similar to the M87. Fully plastic construction leads to a good amount of twisting and flexing. Pressing hard down on a key causes it to sink noticeably (3-4mm max id say), but this isn't really an issue since I never really press that hard on my keyboard. One thing definitely worth noting though is the fact that this keyboard is fairly high up, a couple mm higher than my M87 (which was already a bit high for me), so I might need a wrist rest over time. The keycaps feel very nice under my fingers, no complaints from that end. Very soft feeling plastic. 2 stage feet are nice, they feel sturdy enough (but do look a little small) and they raise the keyboard nicely on the max setting. Usability: The compact nature of a 96% layout is taking a bit of getting used to, but having arrow keys AND a full numpad in a footprint about 1cm wider than my M87 is massive (finally able to be squad leader in Squad again, lol). The UK layout is something that I've been wanting for ages in a mechanical gaming keyboard, but haven't been able to find a UK keyboard that meets all my requirements until now, and I cant find any others off-the-shelf that can either! Wireless: Although I've not needed to use the Bluetooth yet, I can confirm that the 2.4GHz works great! I cant perceive any latency myself, so it may as well be wired! I also plug my keyboard in to charge most nights, but after a full charge when I first got it, I cant remember seeing that battery indication ever drop below 4/4 bars, so I have no doubts that this could last 2-3 days between charges (I'm using a 5 minute time out before sleep). Software: The onboard software is fine (5/10), its certainly nothing to write home about but it does work. I would like if it had more config options built in (like changing the timeout duration without needing to download the RedThunder app), and if it does have them then it should be slightly more obvious, because I had to download the app. The app is a very similar ethos of "does what it needs to, doesnt look great doing it", but its got some basic lighting, macro, and simple config settings. Suppose thats all you can ask for when youre not buying from a larger ecosystem. Overall, very happy with my purchase. If it can last a reasonable amount of time, I reckon this is my perfect keyboard!

All good...... if a key doesn't work.....
It's a really nice looking and sounding keyboard. I'm very happy with it. One thing to note, I saw someone say a key didn't work so they returned it. I also had one key that didn't work, but using the key puller supplied I removed it and plugged it back in and all is well. Very happy.

Nice keyboard feel, pointless lights, clock runs a bit fast. See "update" about charging issue.
Nice enough keyboard with a good feel and a nice sound (sounds a bit like wood). That's all I really wanted. The lighting is pointless and simply drains the battery. Thankfully, you can turn it off through the awkward menus on the built-in screen. I use Linux and although the keyboard itself works fine, I'm going to have to attach it to a Windows PC in order to change the time! That is ridiculous. Update: After initially topping up the charge in the keyboard it work flawlessly for about 6 weeks. Not bad on one charge (without back lights). However, at that point it just switched off. I connected a USB cable to charge it, but nothing happened. After contacting support, I eventually discovered that you must connect a USB cable that is data and power capable (which I was), but you must ALSO set the connection switch on the back of the keyboard to CABLE. That will let the charging start. At that point, you can switch back to WiFi and continue using the keyboard and it will keep charging from the attached cable.

Great Keyboard
My favourite keyboard I have used. Keys are nicely spaced out so feels more natural when hand is hoverover so less typos and quicker speed. Love it has 3 input modes. Usb which I use. Wireless the adapter nicely attached to the keyboard so you don't have to rambert where you left it. Bluetooth mode mode in case of no usb input. Love the fact i could get replacment keys and switches to fix or customise the keyboard.

Nicely made .
Seems to be of good quality and has a mostly UK layout which a lot of other mechanical keyboards don`t . Battery seems to last well , no sign of any loss yet after a couple of weeks of light use .

Is it worth the purchase?
Dysfunctional after a few weeks of use. Battery died, I charged it long enough and it never switched back on. Also the volume button is dodgy. It keeps falling out. Nearly lost it a few times. Poor built for such an expensive kit. Thanks to amazon for agreeing a return and refund.

I just got this keyboard yesterday, and I'm in love with it already. I love tactile keyboards, but most mechanical ones are too loud for my liking. Plus my mic keeps picking up the sound of my old keyboard and it was annoying. I was looking at Logitech's mechanical keyboard, but I wasn't sure about paying $140 for a bland-looking keyboard. I watched demos for this keyboard and was sold on the sound quality and customization. This keyboard is exactly as described for an excellent price. Plenty of color options and designs to choose from. Great battery life if used wirelessly and turning it off when not in use. The keys are soft, not as loud as the typical mechanical keyboards, but rather a soft clicky sound. It's like ASMR to my ears, honestly. The keyboard is also comfortable to type with and easy to customize.

I just got this keyboard and I absolutely plan to make an update here in 3-6 months, but right out the gate this board is GORGEOUS. The board itself is a bit chunky(in comparison to a membrane keyboard), fairly average for any mechanical keyboard. In terms of space, its a wonderful downgrade from a full sized keyboard without sacrificing any of the convenient keys. It contains an fkey row and a screen and knob without extending the top of the board with a lot of negative space. The feel and sound of the keys are probably one of my favorite parts of the board. They're bright and chirpy and muted. They aren't loud with a very relaxing but outgoing resonance. The ombre on the keys is very aesthetic and the key marks are on the side of the key maximizing the aesthetic without losing functionality. They keys themselves as well as the switches are swappable! I'm at rest knowing if I stop enjoying the performance of this board, I can vamp it up by changing the feel and appeal. The screen on the keyboard eliminates the need to install a third party driver as all the rgb is programmable within the board itself. It does offer a driver for even more customizability. Between Size of the board, functionality, appearance, sound, feel and connection options this is absolutely worth the price. especially compared to other name brand boards that typically see sacrifices in size or swappable switch abilities. 5/5 I will be considering another board as a gift to my loud clackity husband. (donations welcome 😉😂)

I really wanted to love this keyboard. Got it for my first big girl job and it looked stunning on my desk. Flash forward a couple weeks, the keyboard randomly stopped working in the middle of my work day. No biggie, I figured the battery died, despite being fairly certain I still had about 50% battery left. Grabbed the cable, wouldn't charge. Tried multiple different USB ports, multiple different computers, etc. Still would not charge. After troubleshooting online, I found that this is a common problem with RedThunder keyboards. I left it plugged into my home PC all night as a last ditch effort and! Suddenly, my keyboard began working again! And then, to no one's surprise, about 2 weeks later it stopped working again. Charged it, it's been plugged in for about a week and a half now, still doesn't work. Won't turn on. Won't do anything. It looks stunning, but now it's just an almost $100 brick. A fancy paper weight, if you will. Save your money and buy an actually good keyboard.

I was looking for a wireless keyboard to replace my apple one. This one fit the bill and it had been good but there are a couple of issues. The time on the screen has to be synced repeatedly. It is off quite a bit. If you have a Mac you have to go to the time sync website to do it. Not a big deal but you have to plug it in to do it - minor inconvenience. The biggest problem I have with it is it not telling me it is going to die because it needs to be charged. It always seems to die when there are still more than 1 bar on the battery display. I don’t understand that. Then you have to wait for it to charge before it starts working again and it takes forever so I have to use a backup keyboard. I have avoided the issue lately by keeping it plugged in just because I don’t want the issue of having to wait for it to charge. The key labels not being on top of the keys does take a bit to get used to and I still struggle with that daily on some less used symbols and such. But overall it is a nice keyboard. But I’m already feeling the itch to replace it.
