This is obviously not heirloom quality jewelry by the price or quality, however it's very pretty for a piece of "practice" jewelry so we can see how our daughter cares for it before we invest in anything real for her. Using it as a graduation/promotion gift into middle school will help us commemorate the milestone as well. The stones catch the light beautifully but the chain is very thin and fragile for something meant to be for a 10-11 year old.
