Blade is a little small but seriously sharp
I'm used to using BIG knives as I was a Butcher by trade. As I love cooking I decided I would buy a Santoku knife and saw this on a list of recommendations as a budget Chef's Santoku which apparently lasts for a long time before needing sharpening. Well once I received it I decided to bleach it then debone a T-Bone steak so that the Sirloin could cook for longer than the fillet (I always sucker myself into buying T-Bones knowing this problem lol) and using this knife it was a doddle. This is one seriously sharp knife and although it doesn't have a tang which would encourage thoughts of better longevity it is seriously good value at the price I paid. There's not a lot more to say really other than again I will reiterate that for me the blade is a little small. If they did a larger version of this I would not hesitate to purchase the larger version, although for most people I should think this size is probably perfect. Hence full marks as my personal preference should by no way detract from the obvious quality of this knife.

Great knife
I bought this specifically because people said it was good for cutting sweet potatoes (these are an absolute nightmare to cut yourself!). I have never had a santoku knife before but I am a convert and will be purchasing more of these as my main knives in future. This is so much easier to use than a chef's knife due to the santoku shape; it makes cutting so much more effortless, less pressure needed and honestly it just glides through most things like butter. I also really like the guard that it comes with.

Great knife, great price.
For the price, this knife has served me well,it's stayed sharp for months - has been used to cut meats, vegetables + a few bones. All purpose, with a great sheath.5/5 nothing negative about it.

Good for the price.
Does the job if you keep it sharp, handle is just a tad too small but I'd rarely use the same knife for long enough for it to become uncomfortable anyway.

Excellent Knife
Before I bought this knife I was ready to spend substantially more on a Global one, just before I ordered that I thought I'd try this knife. I'm very pleased I did, the knife is sharp and cuts through meat / salad / veg with easy. The knife feels great in the hand and the blade is just the right length.

Great knife
Does everything you expect from a kitchen knife. It is shard and cuts well and has a sturdy weight to it. I really like the safety sheath that comes with it, which is a nice added bonus.

I have other more expensive proper Japanese knives but for some reason I use this more than any other. great general knife, from bread, veggies to meat, I use it all the time, just beware it is "£$%^ sharp and hold its edge very well
