I’d never heard of pink dolphins before, but—if sy Montgomery was into them, so am i ! Enjoy a great journey !

I have read many, many books in my lifetime, but Sy Montgomery's Journey of the Pink Dolphins has taken my breath away. What a lovely tale, and how much the reader wants to send messages to Sy at the end of the book! This book is about the challenges life sends us, and what we can only reply to, more belief in what Montgomery has written, and a deep sympathy to the dolphins she embraced during her quest. A reader comes away with the sensation that dolphins are everywhere, we must have only used our eves and live in the moment to understand her dolphins.

Loved this. Sy Montgomery brings these Dolphins to life and all their magic plus the mystery of the Amazon. I am amazed at her courage and fortitude as she searches for these animals. Her writing makes it all come to life which is great cuz I don't want to go there but I sure do like reading about it!

The authors journey to discover the world of the dolphins is as filled with colorful characters and adventure as any Hollywood feature.

She writes books that are amazing and enjoyable to read!

It was a nice travelogue.

I thought that this was a supremely superb book regarding a magnificently spiritual creature that is elusive and undergoing a profound tragedy of population decline.

I took my time reading this book, reason being, I was lucky enough to visit the Amazon a little over a month ago and fell in love with the place. I'd read about pink dolphins and really wanted to see them but alas I was not lucky enough. Another traveller recommended this book as a must read and it is exactly that ! I long to go back and even more so now I have read Sy's experiences.

A great and wonderful adventure written in her compelling and "you are right there with her" style. Just loved it!She is such a courageous woman! I loved the stories and myths woven in. Her poetic prose throughout and especially whenswimming with the Dolphins is such a rare and brilliant treat.
