These block outside sound just like foam earplugs. I was able to hear my music while mowing on my zero turn mower. Sound quality is not bad. Noise reduction is very good

They seem just as good but, the wire is thiner and makes it feel a little cheap and the clips that come with it are the same ones from 2.0 so they are too big to fit the smaller wire and don't work at all.

Great earbuds for a loud workplace. I use a grinder and a welder everyday. Great hearing protection. My only gripe is that the ear tips isotunes provides hurt my ears. I still order the ear tips from comply.

Didn't work at all

I ordered this headset specifically to use for shooting at a gun range. I do not like traditional headsets designed specifically for shooting, or any headsets that cup around my ears – the type that I refer to as earmuff headsets. These are high quality neckband earbuds with an OSHA-compliant SafeMax85 decibel volume limit. This is the recommended limit for workspace noise volume and in most shooting settings the 85-decibel volume limit can be appropriate. These work great for me at the range but shooting is not listed in the manual or any of their promotional literature, so I am only suggesting that you try them if you are a shooter and see if they work for you. This is not an endorsement but only a suggestion to giving them a try. The big surprise for me was the sound quality they produced. Though not audiophile quality they are at least at the SQ level of many neckband headsets that are known to produce good music sound quality. They are also multipoint capable and can be connected to two different devices switching automatically to the active device. Call quality is good as well. Battery life when in use is 20 hours. I could not find a standby power rating but I have let them sit unused for four weeks and they still powered up. The IP67 rating means they are dust resistant and waterproof for all but long water submerging. My only minor grip is the hook that goes around the ear is not as flexible as it could be making them not as quick to put over the ear but are very comfortable when they are worn. I was very impressed with this neckband headset. Though a bit pricey I think they are good value for how they perform. Definite 5-star product.

These are my first pair of earbuds in this style, and I’m very impressed! The fit is fantastic, similar to the custom earphones musicians use on stage. I noticed some reviewers commented on the ear tip size, but the company includes several sizes to ensure a good fit. For me, the small foam ear tips worked perfectly, offering incredible comfort and noise isolation.I even wore these earbuds with no music playing and had the best 3-hour sleep of my life—they shut out most ambient noise remarkably well. The sound quality is good, and for web calls on my computer, they’ve become my go-to. Unlike bulky headphones or earbuds that stick out of your ears, these feel custom-made and deliver clear, immersive audio during calls, making it feel like I’m standing next to the person I’m speaking with.The only downside is the cord that connects the two earbuds. When it slides against my shirt collar, the microphone picks up the noise, creating distortion that the person on the other end can hear. This is the only reason I’m giving these a 3/5 rating. Otherwise, these are the most comfortable secure earphones I have ever used!!I really wish these earbuds were available in a cordless version—I’d buy them in a heartbeat and rate them even higher. That said, I still highly recommend these earbuds for their comfort, sound quality, and noise isolation. At this price point, they’re an excellent choice, even with the minor mic noise issue.

Works as advertised. Noise levels are reduced. The ear wires are more flexibleThan previous model . This makes the wires not staying behind the ear .

ISOtunes is an established brand name leader in the hearing protection business. These earbuds are great and work really well. Besides when I just need hearing protection, I end up just wearing these sitting out in my barn smoking a cigar and watching TV when I have something loud running like a torpedo heater in the winter. They are comfortable and pair to anything I have tried and reconnect every time. They hold a charge for a really long time, I generally only have to re-charge them about once a month or so. The only gripe and this is will all hearing protection ear phones, not just these is that they have a volume level limiter and sometimes I would like the volume just a little bit louder. I am getting older in my mid 50's so had I used more hearing protection in my younger years I probably wouldn't have that problem now. This product is highly recommended.
