Pyramex Venture Safety Glasses

UVC light is one of the decontamination methods I use for anything arriving at my residence since the start of Covid. Alcohol at first was in very short supply and, although a bleach solution was nice as an alternative, there are still items, like letters, that can't be decontaminated with liquids without ruining them. I set up some UVC lights, but I always like to check very briefly if they are still working when I go to decontaminate something. These glasses advertise very high UV protection, so went with them. Now keep in mind that i use them as a secondary block. I have a primary blocking thick polycarbonate plastic that is the primary barrier. Once a cover is lifted off of the polycarbonate primary barrier, I can see whether or not the lights work and the cover is returned so the light never escapes the sealed room. I take away one star because I sent the company a question before purchase and never heard back, but otherwise they seem like nice glasses. And you only ever have one set of eyes.

These inexpensive UV light blockers work. Never use any sanitizing light without wearing these & gloves to protect your eyes & skin. Also use a UV light meter or at least a YouTube video were the author uses one to determine whether a supposed sanitizing wand is fraud or real. There is a lot of fraud claims and sales going on presently (4/16/21). Tip: my wand has two 6" light bulbs. Repalcements are $30 each. My Spectroline light cost $145. It was the least expensive one I could find. Keep that in mind as you encounter the many foreign made wands for $14 to $35. I known mine kills Covid -19

Everybody needs a pair of shades at some point. Some of us need Goggles. Whatever ya need, Pyramex has ya covered for cheap. Great product, stylish, durable, and their higher end models offer ballistic protection as well, all at a really low price point compared to lesser products. So yeah, grab A DOZEN. Or go on losing fifty dollar RayBans or Oakleys one expensive pair at a time. Your nickel, Sparky...

Got these for wearing for use during long wave UV curing of adhesive, which I don't really do so often. They're better than nothing, but not something I'd want if I was working with the lights for more than a few minutes a week. The orange color is really more for style than function. If you're in dental or optical work, skip these.

These are excellent safety glasses but they are also the ultimate driving glasses. I drive for a living and nothing beats these.

Prior description says you have free returns which is false they charge you a restocking fee which is half the price of the item. Steer clear, if you're not sure it's what need or want. Thought they were slightly tinted from the picture, which was my mistake.

I got them to wear under auto darkening welding helmet while striking an arc. Haven't used them for that yet but they should add extra UV and IR protection!

These glasses are just what I needed. Not only do they protect your eyes when working outside on bright sunny days, but they are comfortable and stylish. They don't fog up or slip off your face like other safety glasses that I have worn in the past. I wear these glasses fishing as the wrap around lenses protect your entire field of vision while on the water. They arrived quickly and I was able to put them to use immediately.

Cuts out UV light OK, I ordered two pairs and putting a pair in the torch beam stopped the wee I had found glowing.Comfortable but will not fit over my perception glasses though.

Great price, fast delivery. Comfortable and light sunglasses that I use in a different way. Blue light blockers take your eyes a few minutes to adjust to after putting them on, but then they are excellent for paragliding and hang gliding as you get a very clear view of the clouds in the sky. Easy to tell if they are growing or decaying and so helping to pinpoint thermal areas and where best to fly to.
