Just what I needed!
This wick is great for larger bees wax candles I got the size from a candle wick web sight that said this would work for beeswax candles up to 2 ". I have been burning my test candle for 3 days and I am very happy with the results. I am casting my candles in the new tall skinny coke cans. It is working great and gives me a nice candle about 6" tall by 2" diameter. This is the perfect wick. Delivery was supper fast and the price was right.

Make sure to get the right size wick
I had never made candles before and wasn't sure what thickness to get. The wick seems great to work with and burns normally, leaving behind black chunks from the cotton content as it burns down.I bought the #2 size. The flame height I'm getting is much higher than other candles I'm used to. And it's melting the surface of the candle down too far out to the edges, causing the puddle of wax to pour over the edge sometimes. This is my fault because I didn't pour the candles with a diameter to match the wick thickness I bought. I'll be making more with a bigger mold soon and don't anticipate any such problems.

Worked Perfectly
This was my first attempt at making candles. I was using beeswax in an 8-oz. jelly jar with about a 2 1/2 " opening. These were the perfect size. They have been burning very well, and curling over and burning up like a good wick is supposed to do. Very pleased.

Wick size chart is INACCURATE
It's my wise belief this company has never once made a pure beeswax candle. The reason why is due to their wick size chart being off! You will NOT be able to properly burn your hand poured pure beeswax candle if you choose a wick from this chart corresponding with the diameter of your candle to be. Whatever the chart tells you, you MUST simply go up about two notches in order to craft a properly burning beeswax candle. If you instead use the wick size the chart indicates, you will have a candle that does not burn brightly whatsoever and moreover will just not stay lit. Beeswax candles require a nice thick wick; thicker than any other candle. It's too bad they don't offer a sample wicking kit. I have found doubling the wick size (which is what I had to do) to be a little bit too thick burning my candles a bit too quickly. Even if you are pouring votive candles you will still need to increase the wick size. I haven't tried making birthday candles yet; I suspect wick size may not need to be increased in this case. However I still don't know for birthday candles since I haven't made them yet. Consider this review a blessing. I had to learn the hard way. Now I have to twist two strands of this wick in order to achieve the appropriate thickness for our candles to burn properly. Another tip is to light your finished candle at the base of the wick for several seconds to create intense heat enabling your candle to burn hot and very brightly. I ignite hemp wick coated in beeswax with a matchstick to light our candles. I also trim burned wicks to 1/4" with a wick trimmer prior to relighting and I trim the wicks down again while they burn when they become too tall. I purchased my pillar and votive molds from Candle Science. Lastly, it's a shame this wick company provides such an inappropriate chart when they claim to manufacture wick specifically for beeswax candles. Truly unsatisfactory. Quality is good, however chart size is bogus hence the four star review.

:)
I use this wick for a beeswax candle that is ~2 in wide and it works great. I could probably have gone down a size actually, as the melt pool produced is just shy of 2 in.

Five Stars
Works great but not hot enough for my 3 inch diameter beeswax candles that are 4 oz.

Not waxed
Have submerge in wax then it is ready to use. Never made candles before so the steps, the more likely I'm going to mess up.
