I got it for a 12 string that I run pairs of so 2 sets of 6 strings and it works! However with my 6 string guitar the top E string tends to buzz a bit but that might just be my calibration or idk but yea this thing overall gets the job done. Oh and about the picks we'll I personally don't use them but I recommend Jim Dunlop ones I personally like the .50mm flex and .50 extra felx... I think that's what they are called idk the white and red ones

I did not need another capo, but could not resist the price, with such a beautiful look. Nothing to complain about. When opening the box, make sure you check for the 3 free picks inside the box before sending it to recycle. Not the nicest picks, they are small in size and very thin. The thickest one is about the thickness of a typical 'thin', but they are free so no complain there either. .
