Stays hot for a long time

I got this for my 82 year old mother, simply as a way to annoy my siblings ... and I was not disappointed! Mom loved the cup and actively uses it at every opportunity! It is well made, and does a pretty good job at keeping her cold beverages cold (ice), but she has yet to use it for anything warm.She loves it AND it annoys my siblings! There is no way this is not a HUGE WIN!Highly Recommended.

This is a great mug. It has been unseasonably warm here in UT. I filled the cup with ice and water and even after a few hour in the closed up car there was still ice. We only hand wash so I do not know how it will stand up to a dishwasher. 20oz is a great size for travel and the cup fits easily into my car cupholder. This will be a great gift, especially since my sister knows that I am our mom's favorite!

I gave this to my better half as a way to help him keep his iced sweet tea cold on his way to work and it worked perfectly! Being in South Texas, we're used to 90-100 degree days outside and having something iced cold to sip on the way to anywhere is an absolute must. This cup was able to keep his sweet tea nice and ice cold on his 45 minute commute to work! And yes, I know the cup reads that "My Favorite Child Gave Me This Cup;" it's an old joke between my husband and I because there is a 10-11 year age gap between us (we like to occasionally joke that I'm his first child because of the age gap and the fact that I like being a big kid most of the time! LOL). I do recommend this cup, not just as a Mother's Day gift, but as a gift for anyone who appreciates a good and sturdy drink to keep their preferred beverage hot or cold.

Although it says gift for dad I would give this to my mom. I know I'm not my dad's favorite child. It does keep drinks cold for hours. Stays hot for a few hours. It is leak proof. I like the size. It's not too small but not too big so I can carry it around with me.

This is a great tumbler, perfectly poised to start a fight between siblings. Sturdy, dishwasher safe and attractive. This tumbler is going to get a ton of use!! But not for the reason you might think. On whole it's pretty average. It survives baths in the dishwasher. The lid is OK, you can't remove the sliding part for cleaning, that may be an issue for you, it's not for me, the dishwasher seems to take care of that. I will say it's a slow sipper, it really could use a vent hole. I really like the texture of this cup. It has a sandpaper like texture, not a rough grit, but around the 100- 200 grit range. Makes it really easy to hold on sleepy mornings.
