I ordered this as a christmas gift for my husband since he couldn't get all the local channels with our less expensive antenna that we had.This antenna doesn't pick up anything more. We actually got less channels then we had with our less expensive antenna.I read all the reviews and selected this antenna based off how good the reviews were. Boy was I wrong. Placed in same and different locations then the previous antenna and we couldn't even pick up basic local channels.Buyer beware, Don't waste your money.

Bought this antenna to finally cut the cable after another rate increase. The installation went quickly and there was no fiddling with it to get 80-plus stations to come in. very happy with the picture quality and it picks up the HD channels too. I initially set it up with the antenna next to the TV and later relocated it in the attic but received good reception in either location. The extra long antenna lead gave me lots of options for location.

For an antenna that is advertised as having a 1000+ mile range, this antenna didn’t seem to have any better reception in my experience compared to any other antenna that I’ve used. It works as expected but there was no substantial improvement in the quality of channels or the number of channels I can pick up. It’s hard to justify the significant price for this antenna as I don’t see any significant improvement in reception. The antenna is pretty easy to install and comes with basic hardware which is great but the channels that I scanned were no better than the standard antenna that I have used in the past. The cable length is long enough for mounting in the attic and the quality seems sturdy overall as it’s a pretty beefy antenna so that was a plus.

Product arrived timely and in good condition. The antenna was setup inside in several different locations. I hooked up the coaxial and USB connectors to back of my newer Smart Sony Bravia TV. The channel search was performed multiple times and resulted in 6-9 stations. A few did not work and none of them were of local networks even though I live in Seattle area. Returning.

Well it stated 3000 plus miles and doesn’t even work for one hundred miles. My old antenna that was rated at one hundred miles works great! Definitely would not purchase this unit

This antenna replaced an outdoor roof-mounted steerable antenna. This antenna is being used indoors mounted to the wall. At this point I'm not certain if something was wrong with the steerable antenna because this unit picks up a LOT more channels than the old one did. It works great! I live about a mile from the transmitting antenna, but there is a hill and a very tall building that completely blocks the antenna. Digital TV reception is line of sight. Most folks don't know that if they are not in direct line of sight of the antenna, they are actually receiving the signal reflections from other buildings, hills, and other structures. I do get occasional drop-outs, like when a muni rail drives by, but overall, I'm very impressed with the operation of this antenna. I was considering purchasing a second one for my girlfriend, but I see that they are currently out of stock.

With a little trial and error we were able to set it up. However, we were not able to get more than 15 channels. And only 2 local that maintained a clear picture. So we are returning it.

I’ve tried a few different antennas and this one seems to be the best at pulling in all the channels in my area.
