Good keyboard but you need to be able to type without looking at the keys
I knew before getting this keyboard that the keycaps didn't have letters and numbers on the top. Instead they are on the front sides of the keys. I thought that would be fine, but as I was using it I noticed how often I was having difficulty in typing. Fortunately I can buy different keycaps easily and luckily it comes with both keycap and switch removers so it should be simple to do. The feel of this keyboard is incredible, I love the mechanical switches. It is perfect for gaming and comes with some pre-sets for RGB lighting or per the instruction sheet you can download an app to access more features for customization. I did not do this as I don't care too much about that when there are presets available. It is a 65% keyboard so it's very low profile and takes up very little space, however it is quite heavy which makes it feel higher quality. Now with all of that said, I believe this Higround keyboard is overpriced at $135 right now.

A bit overpriced but seems to work fine
Was somewhat aware of this brand but didn't have any experience with them so I gave this one a try. It's seems about average in terms of budget keyboards with an interesting set of keycaps. For this price, though, something cheaper might fit your needs even better since every budget keyboard has the same features as this one.

Higround getting better
This is an attractive keyboard with some short comings, but Higround has been active in making their products better, especially these keyboards.3/5 pin hot swap sockets, great topographical dye-sub pattern, plenty of foam, and attractive case.Nothing ground breaking, but its a nice step in the right direction for Higround.

Great keyboard with a cool aesthetic
My son is a gamer and is constantly wanting new things for his gaming set up. His latest request was this keyboard. He said that his friends have it and said that it’s great. I ordered it for him and he was beyond excited. As soon as it arrived he ripped it open. The Higround LAVAROCK Basecamp Gaming Keyboard comes with the keyboard, a USB C cable, a keycap puller and a switch puller. There is also a sheet explaining the RGB functions, Multimedia functions, etc. The keyboard itself is a dark gray with a red pattern. The keyboard letters are not on top of the keys like a typical keyboard they are on the front side and visible when you are looking at the keyboard straight on. The available lighting modes on this keyboard are insane, if you don’t like the available options you can create your own. My son was able to personalize this keyboard and arrange it to his preferences. He says it is easy to change the keys and switches as needed. He loves the sound that this keyboard makes and said that it’s the best keyboard that he has had.

Works great
My son's previous gaming keyboard stopped working properly, so he was pretty excited about this new one. He really likes the responsiveness and how easy it is to use. the letters were not on top of the keyboard and were listed on the side, which is kind of strange, but the keyboard came with tools to customize the keys. He swapped the keys from his old keyboard to this new one and it looks great. He loves the lighting options. Also, in case it's not clear, this is a wired keyboard. I didn't read carefully and thought it was wireless from the pictures, but he's really enjoying it.
