I absolutely hate cleaning baseboards, so I rarely do it, even though I need to. I hate getting down on my hands and knees to dust, and a vacuum never seems to get dust out of the grooves. I was hoping this tool would make the job easier, and it does, although I found I needed to get a little creative with the way I attached the pad. Where we have wood floors, our baseboards have quarter-circle trim at the bottom, which makes the height of the baseboard a little short for the tool to clean the bottom at the same time as the top. However, the height of the total baseboard (our baseboards are 3.5" tall) is perfect for the tool's pad area, although I found that not tucking the pad into the part that sticks up allows for an angle to clean the sloped area of the top of the baseboard. If I leave a little of the cloth to hang at the bottom and then raise the whole tool up a little, I can clean the quarter-circle area. So each area of the baseboard requires two passes. Our carpeted areas do not have the quarter-circle trim, but I need to adjust the cloth upward to not drag on the carpet. As other reviewers have stated, this tool is great for cleaning the square tops of door and window trim if you tuck the pad in fully around the part that sticks out. Overall, for me the tool is easier to use than getting down on the floor to dust the baseboards, so I think I will be less hesitant to clean my baseboards now.

First let me say that the 4 stars had nothing to do with the product itself, but with the instructions. I didn’t initially watch the video on Amazon so I was having a hard time figuring out how to put on the pads in order to clean the outside of the baseboard and top. Yet, the video showed what it should look like and it became a duh moment.The product itself - I’m in heaven! I have two dogs in the house and unfortunately, my ocd makes me wash down the baseboards weekly. I’m getting old, so getting on my knees or bending over has been killer! This sucker wipes it so well and easily! I have not used it so wash windows yet.When I first got it, I took it along the top of all my doors. I’m short so that area never comes into play with me until I go to paint. Then when I do it, the dust rolls up and falls to the floor. As you can see in the picture. The dust stays on the pads! Game changer!!The Velcro is strong! I love this because when I use the wet mop thing, the wet pads come off and I’m constantly rearranging. On this, you have to give a pretty good tug to remove the pads. Once it is in there, it’s not going to move!When you put the pole together, it doesn’t just push in or have the little button that pops out. It literally pushes in and screws. This makes for a very strong pole. I have a lot of cleaning items and I hadn’t seen that before!Just a few tips. First, place the item against the wall so you can find the correct angle and pressure to keep it from jumping off the baseboard. Slide it down and it should smoothly move along your baseboard. Second, start at the edges of your baseboard. Although this thing is great into holding on to the dust, there will always be some that it “pushes”. Which means if you start away from the corner and move toward, some dust will get into the corners and you’ll have to hand wipe them (we all know what a pain dust in corners is!If you have an area that the baseboard isn’t too long, naturally this isn’t going to be much help as you can’t move it. That isn’t a product issue, it just is what it is.Overall, just using it for top of doors and the baseboard: it’s well worth the money. I’m going to use on my Jeep to get the high places and also the windows. I’m excited about that! Happy cleaning everyone!

This tool is like a swiffer with the long pole and mop head, but that is where the similarities end. Where the swiffer is flimsy and feels like it is going to break when you put a little pressure on it, this is super sturdy. The pole comes in 4 pieces that are inserted into each other then screwed down so you can put some pressure on it and it doesn't feel like it is going to break. It comes with 2 microfiber and 2 chenille pads and a bristle brush attachment. I tried it on my baseboards and it picked up so much dust. I love this thing. I've never been one to worry about baseboards but since I really saw how bad they got when I sold my old place, I'm turning over a new leaf and this will make it so much easier. I thoroughly recommend this.

I am so in love with this baseboard cleaner. It comes with a 56 inches handle, Base Boards Cleaning Mop Scrubber, 1 Stiff Bristles Brush, 2 Chenille and 2 Microfiber Pads, as well as a Wall Duster. The best part is the baseboard cleaner cause most people know cleaning baseboards isn’t fun and having to go sling in your hands and knees is hard on the body especially as you get older. I can use this standing and the lip on the baseboard clearer also gets the top of the baseboard. I have a baseboard that is wide and the top is flat so I can go along with this and it cleans the top and the side in one swoop. The first time I used it I needed to clean the pads quit a bit as I hadn’t done them in a long while. Now I can quickly do this monthly and prevent the build up of dust on the baseboards. You can also use it on the walls and I used it on my doorframe which made quick work if the dust that collects above the door. No more step stools for me.The long handle allows you to do everything standing to take the strain off the knees and back. I have used it to clean way now than just baseboards including walls, stair railings, furniture, and other stuff as well. The pads are nice snd soft so you don’t scratch things but there is a scrubber for those tough areas that have something stuck on. Most of the areas I was in were mostly dusty so I didn’t need the scrubber but it’s there if needed.I love this, cleaning just got a whole bunch easier.

Was mich an einem Wischmopp eines bekannten Markenherstellers immer genervt hat, war, dass der Stiel sich immer zusammengeschoben hat und das Arbeiten entweder unbequem wurde oder man war ständig damit beschäftigt, den Stiel wieder nachzujustieren. Das gibt's bei diesem Wischmopp nicht. Der Stiel ist, wenn man alle Teile verschraubt, länger und hat so für mich eine gute Arbeitslänge. Die Aufnahmefläche für die Pads ist kleiner, als das, was man sonst von dementsprechenden Artikeln im Baumarkt oder bei Drogeriemärkten so kennt. Ich empfinde das als einen Vorteil, weil man so besser auch in Ecken und kleine Flächen kommt, wo die größeren Teile sonst nicht hinkommen. Die Befestigung der Pads an den Stiel ist schnell gemacht, und hält wirklich fest. Die Reinigungswirkung der Mikrofaser- und Chenille-Pads ist beeindruckend. Staub fliegt anschließend nicht in der Gegend herum sondern verbleibt in den Chenille-Pads, die sich nach Gebrauch auch gut reinigen lassen. Fußboden zu wischen war nach meiner Meinung noch nie so einfach, so schlierenlos wie mit diesen Mikrofaser-Pads. Mal eben die Deckenpaneele in der Küche wischen und von Kochdunst befreien, das war noch nie so einfach wie hier, eben auch weil sich der Stiel nicht zusammenschiebt und man so auch genügend Druck beim Reinigen ausüben kann.
