The Living Bible Large Print Edition (Hardcover, Green) Hardcover – Large Print, May 1, 2013

This is by far, I believe, the best bible for both new Christians or long time believers to read. It explains the Word of God so simple and easy, in the language we use today. It is not a translation but a paraphrase, which means to take the literal word and put it into our language of today so we can relate to what the Lord is saying. No complicated words we no longer use or thee's and thou's. I love the footnotes at the bottom that give the literal meaning of verses which help with comparison. I have been a believer for many years and still love to spend time reading my Living Bible. I just keep getting more and more out of it. I bought the large print edition because I found the print size of the other Living Bibles to be way too small. The size of this large print is just right for comfortable reading. The only thing I would change is to add wider margins or areas for note taking.

The media could not be loaded. This living Bible along with the KJV are the first versions I started out with. The Living Bible is paraphrased in such living and rich text. I remember many years ago salesman at our door with copies of this version in green with bubble letters on the cover called "The Way." It's one of the most fascinating books I've ever read.Please keep in mind that the Large print is only 10 point font which is pretty small. But overall, the cover and contents are superb. I would call the cover a soft hardback and I love that it lays flat open.

The Bible is large print, nice cover, and is exactly as the description said it is.

I love the large print so I don’t strain my eyes. Love the translation of the Bible. Easier to understand and it explains things. I’m going to by some for my granddaughters for Christmas.

I am vision impaired and wanted LARGE print. I don't believe it is ADA Large Print but "larger print: than newspaper wording. Easy to read and written in good English you can actually understand! Its a great gift for the Christian follower!
