Very effective for high arch support.
Suffering from severe over pronation of my right foot, but wanting to exercise daily to help to reduce blood sugar levels, I do need to wear insoles with good arch support when I work out to keep the discomfort I get in my ankle in check. I haven't yet found any insoles that totally alleviate the problem but my best ones will allow me to do an hour or more of brisk walking on my treadmill without suffering any debilitating injury that would prevent me going again the next day. The search for the perfect insole continues.I have three categories for insoles. Those that I will happily wear in my sports shoes, those that I wear in my day shoes, where I don't want such aggressive arch support but do want some degree of cushioning for comfort, and then there are the binners. When I had these insoles in hand I was guardedly optimistic that they would be the kind of insole I need. The instep was high, if a little yielding, and it covered a fairly large area. But only a session on my treadmill, which is my Sorting Hat (of Harry Potter fame), would give me the real information that I needed. Within fifteen minutes I can tell which group the insole belong in.These insoles fell firmly in the sports shoe category. The support that I needed was obvious from when I put the shoes on and was also very comfortable, not feeling like it was cramping my foot against the fabric of the shoe. I was able to easily do 40 minutes and whilst I was aware of the heat in my ankle it never became too serious that I was tempted to stop.At £13.99 a pair these insoles are among the best I have tried and I would say that they represent great value for anyone needing high arch support like I do.

Good quality, comfortable and supportive, excellent value for money.
I have had issues with plantar fasciitis for a number of years and started using arch support insoles around 3 years ago. I’ve used a variety of different insoles, this is my first experience of the Trustfeet brand.Compared to other insoles I have used these are of a similar design and quality, perhaps not quite as good overall but they are almost half the price of those I am currently using. They are made from a reasonably firm foam that offers a fairly good level of cushioning. There is a gel pad under the ball of the foot and the heel, these pads provide an extra level of comfort when walking. On the underside is a semi-rigid plastic heel and arch support area which along with the deep heel cup provides stability. These are described as high arch support and have very similar proportions to the insoles I use on a daily basis. They are comfortable and supportive, as I am so used to this type of insole I don’t need any time to adapt to them. They are easily trimmed with scissors if required, I opted for the Large size which fits a UK9.5 shoe without the need for alteration.I have found that the most important aspect with arch support insoles is the way they fit your individual foot shape. The height and position of the arch support is crucial, this does mean that not all brands of insole will be ideal for everyone. At first this type of insole can feel very uncomfortable and will take a little time to get used to. However, If you persevere you can be rewarded with a great amount of benefit and will not want to be without them.I received these insoles free of charge to review as part of the Vine programme, if I had paid for them I would have been very happy with the purchase. They compare surprisingly well with much more expensive insoles from other brands.

Best insoles tried so far
My wife’s doctor recently recommended she uses arch support insoles to correct flat feet and over-pronation. She’s tried a variety of different insoles but none have been quite right, being too hard/soft or not supportive enough. These Trustfeet work insoles are definitely the best she’s tried and she’s found them comfortable and supportive. You can see that her ankle is much straighter using these insoles and she’s found that she can walk for longer distances without too much discomfort, which is a big improvement. The insoles are made of dense foam providing cushioning, and topped with a soft and smooth fabric that feels comfortable against the skin. The rigid black section on the base gives the insole its shape, with quite a deep heel cup and high arch support. There are shock absorbing gel sections under the heel and the balls of the feet, and the whole front section is flexible and can be trimmed to fit your shoes.Be aware that these insoles are primarily designed for work boots, so they’re quite bulky and not suitable for all types of shoes. My wife is using them in a pair of trainers with elasticated uppers, she replaced the existing insoles with these, and they’re a good fit and very comfortable. My wife is really happy (and relieved) to have found a pair of arch support insoles that work so well for her, and at £13.99 (and with a 15% voucher currently available) she thinks they’re excellent value and will be ordering another pair.

Comfortable insoles for work
I wore these insoles for a few days this week. I found them to be very comfortable and they certainly helped to relieve some of the tiredness I often find after a day on my feet at work. I put them in my work boots and trimmed just a little off the top. The fitted fine across the width. They look like they are well made and the materials used seem decent. They are bulkier than many insoles that come with shoes or boots so bear that in mind when purchasing, but the added comfort is worth changing the insole in my opinion. Obviously I can't comment on longevity yet, but if I find that these insoles wear out quicker than expected I will revisit this review with further information however for now I am happy with these. Price-wise, they seem a bit expensive, but what price can you put on comfortable feet at work?
