Amazon Brand - Solimo Tall Kitchen Drawstring Trash Bags, Clean Fresh Scent, 13 Gallon, 80 Count

I bought two boxes of these based on positive reviews and the fact I was almost out of my name brand bags. So far I have been impressed with these kitchen bags. They have proven to be more durable than the name brand I had prior. I have noticed that there are less items that protrude the bag sides when I bring out the garbage. And they have just the right amount of fresh scent. Not overpowering at all. I will definitely purchase again and recommend to others as well. Top quality at a decent price!

First off I like that it has the draw strings instead of the tabs to tie which my prior supply had. The bags are also thicker than my other bags. The bag fit my trashcan perfectly just like I prefer. And lastly the price was very good for so many trash bags.

I have always stuck with the name brand when it came to kitchen trash bags. One brand in particular with the Febreze scent was my favorite. I am thrilled to report that I have found the Amazon Brand Solimo bags in my opinion surpass the other brand in all ways. First the scent of these bags is fresh and very natural. it is there but not off-putting - just what you need to make sure your trash always has a neutral scent. Perfect. The true test was something I did not expect. I have occasionally bought generic brands and they have been fine but slightly inferior with durability usually tearing more easily. I immediately noticed with these Solimo bags that there was a strength, flexibility and durability far beyond even the name brand. I decided to go a step further and really stuff the bags a few times to the max where I really had to press down what was in the bag to be able to tie the bag. This is where even the name brand would tear but the Solimo brand did not. This will now be the only brand kitchen trash bags I use. Natural and neutralizing scent and a quality durable product. I have been looking for a new scented trash bag and was happy to try these out. I currently use a big brand scented flex bag, but on the past 2 packages the ties have been ripping out when securing them to the can and they have punctured under minimal strain. These do not have the flex to the plastic, but seem reasonably strong. The scent is nice and mild. It will not do much against general trash can odors but is pleasant when you open the box and take one out.

I was a little uneasy about ordering these but because of the return guarantee and my past experience of Amazon doing right by me when something goes wrong, I took a chance. I am glad I did. The thickness and overall quality of these bags beat several different name brand garbage bags I have tried recently and, I might add, at a much better price. I've had trouble with bags tearing most of the time on all the other brands I've used recently. It seems like the big brands are advertising one quality but cutting corners and delivering quite another. Not Amazon. These bags have not torn on me, not once in about a month of use. I purchased the fresh scent and do wish it had a little more scent (very mild) but better that than being overpowering. Have you priced decent garbage bags lately?! Just ridiculous - Amazon bags are great quality at a great price. You just can't beat it. Just hope Amazon doesn't jack up the price or lower the quality once everyone wises up and starts buying them. I just don't understand the negative reviews about ripping and tearing. My bags are top notch quality. Maybe there is a quality control problem? (Scratch my head) If so, Amazon needs to improve their quality control system. I would highly recommend these bags to anyone.

I ALWAYS buy a certain brand name of tall kitchen bags. I decided to see what the Solimo brand was all about and I'm glad I did. These bags seem very similar to my usual brand, so that's good. The handles and drawstring are strong. Didn't seem to stretch/tear when I take the bag out. The thickness of the bag is definitely a plus. I'm not at all concerned about items poking through on the way to the trash bin outside. One thing I did notice is that the top of the bag seems to be a bit bigger than other brands. It seems to be a little baggier fit on the can. Not a problem for me, though. If you have found it difficult in the past to get the top of the bag around your can, this may work well for you. Try them out.

This is my second order of the Solimo bags. I've always thought they were durable, but with my last batch, the tie straps often just pulled out while I was trying to tie the bag and that no longer seems to be the case. I'll let you know. Insofar as the scent is concerned, there's nothing like taking out the garbage to substantially improve air quality, but the aroma itself is fairly innocuous. The price is right, the quality is good, and I'll definitely order again.

Debido a la ley de desechos en la CDMX, ya no venden bolsas de "un solo uso" en costco, y la verdad esa marca la amaba. Al inicio estas bolsas de Amazon las compre con sospecha que solo las iba a usar por que no me quedaba de otra, pero la verdad, es que ya me encantaron, son más resistentes y se adaptan mejor a mis botes de basura. El extra que traen es un aroma ligero como si fuera suavizante, la verdad es que ayuda muchisisisimo aunque mis botes tienen tapa, ahora que veo estas y las puedo comparar con las que antes usaba, me quedo por mucho con estas.

I expected this, actually....the bags are not as stretchy or as strong as the Glad bags, and I can't pick them up or adjust the contents in the same way as I could with the Glad. Sharp corners on plastic or cardboard are more likely to poke their way through as well.That said, they are WAY cheaper and not at all a bad deal. You just can't abuse them (over stuff them) like you can with the Glad bags, that's all. I'll be buying more.

The bags come a bit smaller than expected - at least compared to other 13 gallon bags I've purchased from other brands. The thick lining is durable for kitchen use and the ties are easy to use. They do seem a little flimsy for carrying but tie up well for sealing the bag and I carry by the base of the knot to take out the trash. Good value. Would buy again.

We have to separate our garbage, I have a 3 bin tall garbage can. These fit and actually go to the bottom of the bins. Love the price and the quality as they are not thin flimsy bags like most generic ones.

These are the best garbage bags we have ever bought. This one box will last my family of 4 well over 1yr. Great quality and quantity and value!
