Great book but also vastly out sold by the basic tomb ABC for Book Collectors. The 2 books are clearly aimed for 2 greatly different audiences. One sells for $30 and the other is $130. But this author is beyond butt hurt in constantly attacking “flaws” in ABC for Book Collectors in his Introduction to both volumes. His Prefaces (both editions) are said, said, tales of a great book not be allowed to stand on its own because it’s author is hell bent to leather to attack a long dead author of a great tool for beginning book collectors and take pot shots at those who attempted to update the work. For the record I own copies of all 9 Editions and both 1st and 2nd edition of this instant volume. Buy the book, read it, use it, but ignore the pathetic Author Introduction.
