Choosing Daiken was the worst decision and most expensive mistake we've ever made in this century
Biggest mistake we ever made, was choosing Daiken. Less than 20 years ago we chose Daiken equipment for our AC systems and supplemental heating system on top of an 8 story building.in the center of Manhattan's Flatiron district. A part just failed on one of the 6 units on the roof supplying one of the full floor lofts in the building. But Daiken no longer makes the parts needed for the repair. We searched the USA market and could not find the part. We are now going to spend $100,000 replacing the main unit and breaking through the walls for a completely new system. If Daiken had bothered to support the building wide product they sold us, this would be a 5K part at the most. NEVER trust a company that does not care about YOU, their customer.. They offered us NOTHING! UNBELIEVABLE! When calling them they were not in the least symapthetic. I've never come across a company with such awful attitude and lack of support. No sympathy, no sense of responsibility, They can not be trusted to stand behind anything that you purchase from them.
