Slime Bike Inner Tube with Slime Puncture Sealant, Self Sealing, Prevent and Repair

I bought this slime inner tube some time ago. For weeks. Everything was okay. I got my first puncture two days ago. Took the inertube out of the tyre. Check tyre. No faults. Went to pump up my slime innertube. There is a little hole in the inertube. Tried pumping it back up. Hoping the slime would fill the hole. Did not work. I then bought some self adhesive patches for the innertube. Check the innertube again. The Slime done it's job. It filled my hole up. I pumped up the inertube. Pit it back in my tyre. So far so good.

Really good innertube had it on my bike for a while and no punctures

I ride my bike everyday to and from work and occasionally on the weekends for pleasure. These inner tubes have been a god send for me and so far I have been puncture free. Cannot rate these highly enough.

I bought two of these to replace my stock inner tubes. They didn't last long at all. For the first inner tube, the valve snapped off with very little force as I was trying to pump it up. For the second inner tube, it burst all on its own, despite being well udner the pressure limit. I have ever in all my time cycling experienced inner tubes with such a consistant failure rate. Oh, and the self-scealing? It doesn't work even slightly. Do not waste the money I just wasted. Buy different tubes.

UPDATE - 13TH MARCH 2024:The replacement I requested for (11th March 2024) in place of the bursted tube arrived on the 12th. No questions asked, and without waiting for my return. I upgraded review to 3 star for this.11TH MARCH 2024:Bought new tyres to go with this. Installed Tube and pumped. Just when I hit 60psi, tube bursted. I am honestly not sure what could have caused it. I installed another tube (regular tube of a different brand) the next day and it worked normal. It may be just me unlucky with a defective product; other reviews seem great. I have asked for a replacement because I still want to try it in future; however, I have already bought and used the "Slime 10015 Tube Sealant" for the two tubes I installed. So even if I get this, I may not use it soon. The only further update I may provide would be the speed of the replacement order.

So far is really doing the job!

I have been running one of these in my back tire for 2 months. I work in an industrial area, and I commute (mostly on a busy highway) 14 klm 2 ways 5 days a week. Before I got a Slime smart tube, I was going through a lot of $ in tubes (one week I went through 4 tubes). I have literally pulled huge lumber staples out of my tire with this tube. I even put a 3mm tear in this tube... It didn't seal that one as instantly as some of the others, but, it still managed to get it done, with enough PSI left to get me home (I didn't need to use my mini pump on the highway... YAY!). I am honestly impressed with this product, and I can't recommend it enough.Just make sure that the valve is at the top of the wheel before you try to add or remove air (like any tire with sealant)
