Exactly what I need. Fast and and accurate.
Perfect for me, as I’m colorblind red/green and have a terrible time with test strips. This unit tests very quickly once you get the hang of it. Bluetooth feature allows you to compare results over time, fine tune your pool chemistry, and get a “feel” for what your pool needs. Does not test salinity but there’s a very inexpensive digital tester for that as well.Couldn’t be more pleased with this unit and it’s worth every penny IMO. I’ve compared a couple of test results with the local pool store’s digital test and found the ColorQ to be very accurate. Reagent refills are also easy to find.

Works Great but DONT BUY
I purchased in 2023 and the digital reader is great. I tested it against other methods and found the results to be pretty reliable. It is easy to use and a thousand times better than trying to decipher the colors on other tests. I like that it connected via bluetooth to my phone and tracked all my tests results. HOWEVER, when I went to purchase new reagents in Spring of 2024, I found that the tablets have all been discontinued. They are impossible to find. I ordered liquid reagents thinking those might work but the readings were way off. I bought this thinking it would last me several years and I only got one season out of. I can now only test the levels which use liquid reagents (Chlorine and pH) but cannot test Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, or CYA.

Great for measuring pool chemicals
This digital meter and accompanying app make pool water testing easy to keep up to date and my pool crystal clear. It is a bit pricey but we’ll worth it. Great carrying case and enough supplies to last quite a while.

Buy this! Finally No More Test Strips
This machine is the best. I wasted so much time trying different test strips and never sure of the readings. I spent more time retesting with strips because I didn’t believe the readings. Using this machine literally takes just minutes. For those that say it’s tedious, I don’t agree and shelf life on solutions and tabs is good. Do yourself a favor and make the investment.
