Heavy cardstock with nicely printed gold foil accent
These certificate covers feel substantial and as solid as you would expect them to be. They hold a sheet of cardstock well but it's tricky to get the cardstock in the pocket tabs in the cover. The tabs don't open easily and the cover has a tendency to crease as you try to get the certificate in the tabs. They lost one star to this, since I have a few creased certificates and certificate holders. One of the tabs tore in the attempt. If you're able to get everything together without any permanent creases, the finished result looks professional and high quality.
