This book is essential to mankind. Page149 on Three foods that kill and the stories that follow are an eye opener and inspiring. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. The entire book has information on rebuilding one's health. Dr. Z was on the Impact Theory interview and his passion for helping the reader rebuild their health is transformational. This is a must read for anyone who wants to make a difference in their lives. I can't say enough on how much l have learnt and the changes l have done to rebuild my life. The book is an easy read and following the healing plans don't require any big sacrifices. You just have to want to stay healthy. I know the impact it had on me! Read it and Rebuild your health!

Amazing book!!!
Purchased for my husband. He wants to change his eating habits and start exercising. This author/doctor has a YouTube that introduced us to buy the book and I'm so glad I did. My husband is not an exercise person but what he's read in this book, has made him realize how important nutrition and exercising is for your body to love a healthier life and learned how we ourselves hurt our bodies without even knowing it! Through stress anxiety then becoming depression and or other illnesses. It's very inspiring and motivational. I highly recommend for someone who wants to better they're lifestyle and live a healthier and happier life!

Comprehensive guide to longevity
Dr. Z opened my eyes on the types of food my family and I eat and why the right nutrients and supplements are so important. Minimizing dairy and sugar are obvious themes. I'm also paying more attention to how I work out as a result of this book. HIIT workouts 3x/week seem to complement his nutrition guide. I'm looking forward to seeing my results following this comprehensive book on how to live longer!

Love love love this book!
This is such a great book for anyone going through cancer and recovery. This book helps you with after your treatments and helps guide you on what to do. I loved This book because a lot of what is discussed really hit home for me.

There is no better book than one that tells a true and inspiring story and no better doctor than one who is empathetic to patients' concerns based on his or her own personal experience. This book has both. I recommend it for the story it tells as well as the information and guidance it provides.

Useful content
I discovered the author's story and at present his only book through an episode on Impact Theory. Firstly, I would like to mention that I read this book on Kindle and it didn't have the endless scroll-down feature that I've gotten accustomed to using in my ebooks, so I had to swipe page for page. Moving on to content feedback, I would like to point out that the man is a functional medicine physician, which is considered at present under the scope of alternative medicine, typically characterized by a large number of unproven or disproved methods. He also studied chiropractic neurology and has a Master's degree in nutrition. Having said that, I nonetheless really appreciated his scientific approach. The first third of the book is entirely focused on providing a very long list of studies from official medical journals. He makes an adequate, huge effort to support his claims through available research and he also makes the reader understand the core causes of many diseases. Following this good start, he advocates for a really balanced omnivore diet, which might put off the modern vegan. But since I'm not a vegan myself, I could appreciate the content. A lot of the things he reinforces are already by this point in time either common sense or common knowledge: sleep, stress management, nutrition, exercise, etc. What makes this book special is how much well-supported information he was able to condense: explored cases, supplementation, exercise routine examples with pictures and guides, and a lengthy list of amazing recipes in the last part of the book, some of which I've found extremely delicious and easy. Sometimes he does repeat himself, but I think that might only incommodate you if you'll read the book in a few days like I did. If you plan to take your time with reading it though, the repetitions are within context and might serve as a refresher. At the end I was happy with the purchase.

Easy read, simple facts that will help you!
I have known Dr Z for over 10 years. I have seen him fighting cancer, wining the battle and rebuild. Dr Z helped me greatly at a difficult time in my life. The author is real and so is his great book. It works!

The best book of its kind. Indispensable. A must read.
This is a great book. Makes real research understandable. Gives us what each individual needs to know to take control if their health. It is the real deal and it works. Could not recommend it more.

Highly informative
A priceless read if you're going through a health issue or if you know your lifestyle needs a reboot. The chapter on the different arms of the immune system (th1 and th2) were illuminating for me and changed my healing protocols entirely. I have ready begun to notice the difference. Highly recommended.

Good information
I bought this book upon recommendation from a friend after my cancer diagnosis. Fabulous information about nutrition & the role that food plays in our health and its links to cancer. I wasn’t interested in the intense workout information, I’m more of a yoga/swift walking kinda gal but I did appreciate the first half of the book. It gave specific food examples, nutritional information & meal ideas.
