Lasted 12 months and now the top is ripped and the waterproof material stuck to the top of the heater, then melted when turned on the heater. It was great for 8 months, so if you want to purchase new ones once a year this would be fine. Zipper is OK quality. Was really happy with the cover until it failed all at once basically. We live in Southern California so the weather is not even really that extreme. If this were used in AZ or somewhere with more sun, think it would have failed even sooner.

Perfect fit. Looks very good. However, it is very thin - seems to be nylon with plastic coil zipper.After only 9 months (January to September 2014 in Northern California in a spot with shade during 30% of the day), the UV and heat have degraded the top. The top has now split and it is held together with duct tape.The sides have not degraded as much, so I suspect it is a combination of the sun's UV along with the heating of the top reflector.Its a shame, because it fit so well and looked very good at an affordable price. Given that it has failed after less than one year, I am giving this one star. If you are considering using it in an area with no sun exposure, or perhaps not very hot, then maybe you will fare better.Actually ordered a second one in November 2016, and as of April 2018 it has split straight down the side. Will gladly pay more for something that lasts longer than 9-18 months.

The product looked good and fit really well. I covered my patio heater with the new cover starting Spring of this year.The nights are getting cooler - so uncovered the patio heater this past weekend. Unfortunately - when I took the cover off - I saw the inner lining had disintegrated. The lining flaked off into tiny pieces - making a mess on the patio. The flakes would further break apart as you tried sweeping them up. Threw the cover away immediately to spare myself more cleanup. I will have to look at other options when I cover the heater next Spring...

Decent cover but when it gets windy the cover catches the wind like a sail. This knocked my heat lamp over and damaged the heat deflector on top. Look around for covers that have a much narrower stem or use this one but tie the slack

This is a decent cover. It is pretty thin but it protects the heater. It is pretty thin and water does get through. Also, I had to tie mine to the pole of the heather or else it acted like a kite and knocked over the hater when the wind blew, even with a full propane tank it it.

Waited almost a year to review, but wanted to see how it stood the test of time weathering before I did. The product fit great and functioned well in the beginning. The cover was only exposed to the elements for the winter and early spring approximately 6 months if that, the rest of the time it was in my garage. I brought it out about a month ago and when trying to cover the heater the 2nd time it had become brittle and easily ripped, so thus the subtraction on stars. I still think 3 stars might even be a bit high to rate it after my use history and the cover lacking to hold up for a least the warranty period. I didn't even bother to try and get a replacment, so I cannot comment on how that would be. I just decided to spend that time searching to find a higher quality replacment.

This is the worst quality product I have ever purchased. This cover was used to cover my outdoor heater for ONE Spring and Summer (in North Carolina) and removed until today 4/18/2015, when I took it out to cover the heater again for this year. The whole top ripped right open due to the sun element I'm assuming. Terrible quality; when a company knows that a product will face inclement/sun weather, better materials should be used. Would never purchase another one from this company. Am so disappointed!

This is a really nice cover for a tall patio heater. I had to repair my heater after leaving it out in the rain. Cover also will not blow off due to its design.
