Excellent box of small fuses
Having read previous poor reviews I thought I would add my own review. The box of fuses provided should not be mixed up with cartridge fuses required for UK 3 pin plugs. Plug fuses are ceramic and longer in length. They usually come in 3, 5 and 13 amp ratings. These glass fuses are for specific requirements that use 20mm fast blow. Hence they are shorter and should never be used in a 3 pin plug.My requirement for these fuses was where my desktop extension lead had individual fused outputs. I needed 2 fuses as both sockets had blown, probably due to my daughter plugging in her hair dryer. I fitted two new 5 amp fuses from this pack and both sockets are working again. So if you are looking for UK 3 pin fuses then search for ceramic UK 3 pin plug fuses. If you need these smaller type fuses, then look no further, they are well priced and come in a small box which has various fuse ratings in. A very good set that I'll now put in the cupboard waiting for my daughter to plug her hair dryer or curling tongs into.As a word of caution, don't be tempted to place a higher rated fuse in you application, as in my case my extension lead will have wiring that matches the 5 amp rating and not 10 or 20 amps. If you do this the fuse wont blow when the hair dryer is plugged in but the wires in the extension lead could over heat due to the wrong rating be used with the cables in the lead.

Needs Improvement
I tried this to see if they would explode quickly as suggested but after staring at them for about 5 minutes nothing happened. They didnt blow up quickly, in-fact they didnt blow up at all.Maybe Im misinterpreting quick blow, are these meant to be used for oral?

I now have fuses for the next 20 years
I needed TWO fuses of different ratings. For roughly the the same amount I was able to get 100 - delivered on the same day with Prime! The size was what I needed - but there are loads of variants out there so check dimensions carefully. Depending on your holder these might replace a 20-25mm long fuse of 5-6mm diameter. They work but may not be very accurate. The 6A fuse glowed red at 11A and finally blew at 11.2A and the 500mA fuse was able to hold about 800mA before blowing. I wasn't able to get the 8A fuse to blow as my power supply only goes up to 12A! But this may be typical as I also tried a standard household BS Kitemarked 3A fuse that only blew when pushing 5.5A.

Fuming, and so was my boiler
Used the fuse labelled 2A to replace the 2A fuse in my otherwise working boiler. Turned it back on and alas, the fuse was indeed blown as it turned back on as normal. The difference became apparent immediately when my boiler started smoking. After quickly turning off the electric and opening it back up, the £400 motherboard was blown. Thanks a lot.

Good selection of electronics, not mains plug fuses.
These are not 13 amp plug fuses. You find these glass fuses inside a lot of electronic devices. You need 13 amp ceramic fuses to fit in a plug. These glass fuses are always inside an electrical device, so unless you know about electrical appliances and electronics you should never touch these fuses. They are very reasonably priced, and there's a lot of them. You find all different rated fuses inside electrical equipment so it's really nice to have a good selection. If you are interested in electronic equipment that these fuses are used for you need to watch Big Clive on Youtube. He's an electronics expert who takes things apart etc.

Handy little storage pack
Yep, you get what you expect. They seem of good quality, come in a handy little storage pack with each fuse labelled.Typically the fuses ratings are printed on the end cap in teeny-tiny stamped digits but every fuse is the same.Even though they are glass fuses, not one has any damage and all the end caps seem well attached.Buy it, put it in the cupboard. Can't go wrong.

Don't blow a fuse !
When I bought these I did not know there is a longer length version too. At least that's what I found when I came to use them. They were a little small. Still, no matter, I found a way around that problem, but in future I will search harder for the right ones.

Handy little purchase
Needed some spare fuses for my switch box on my pond, my pump uses a 5 amp 20mm in lengh fuse which had blown, fitted one of these and it's all back up and running loads of spares and different amps for other things on my pond if anything else blows a fuse nice to have some spares all clearly labelled and in a nice little box
