These are easy to set. I don't bother with the flag that comes with the device. Simple device, highly effective in the sandy soil we have here.

This trap does not work. Its very difficult to set and I'm not sure it would work if it was triggered by a mole. Spend a few extra bucks on a better one.

This contraption does exactly what it's supposed to do. Easy to set, but a little hard to release once it's caught something, but would think all are like that so the mole can't escape. Caught two moles in one day; was able to save one. If you catch it as soon as it sets off, you could potentially save the mole to be relocated elsewhere (no guarantee though).

I have used this mole trap for a little over a month so far. No, I haven't caught a mole with it yet. Those moles are smarter than they look. I follow instructions and I use gloves that have been worked in the garden so my scent isn't on the trap. They still go around it, instead of triggering it off. But the trap itself is easy to set up. Find where the mole run is located by using a locator or something like it, then squish down the run. This is important as moles will more than likely come back to that spot. You have to squish it down otherwise the trap won't work. Place the trap down into the run, place foot down and push, kinda hard, to open the scissors. It's a bit tricky at first, but once you use it a few times it gets better. One problem I have with it so far, is how it's already rusting and I just got it.

2 for 2 in 1.5 hours I popped 2 moles . I bought 4 traps total and have been impressed thus far. If I didn’t care about the yard getting torn to hell from my bull terrier I’d let him take care of the problem but this is easy and produces fast results.

Bought the 4 pack of them. Started using them on Sunday, by Wednesday I had caught 5 moles. These seem to be more sensitive than other traps, I consider that a good thing. I've had a couple false trips, but I feel like these miss less than other traps, so it's a good tradeoff. Move them often if you don't get a mole in the first 24 hours. When I put them in the ground I twist them a bit before setting to make sure the path of the jaws are clear. Super pleased with these. After trying other methods (gassing, poison), these seem to be the most effective by far.

Item is well made but wouldn't latch. Didn't work for us.

What can I say… It works.
