Each jar ([email protected]) were individually wrapped with bubble wrap and placed in a heavy plastic bag to contain the ingredients if ever should one break.Price: per oz is one of the least expensive and with Prime shipping, well priced, so I have no issues buying more.Taste: Wonderful, like olive salad should taste. They only use olive oil versus the others which include a variety of oils. Which can affect taste and texture. They also have capers in the mix which is more along the lines of a traditional olive mix. They also date the jars to insure you getting a fresh mix not something sitting in a warehouse for a few years before you get it. These jars were only months old.Its well worth the price of admisson. I wish they had larger jars but understand that these are easier to ship, stay fresher as you tend use the whole jar per receipe. All you need to do is buy more jars.Thank you to Cherie who boxed my products with such care.

This muffuletta mix has a good mix of veggies, olives and some light spices in olive oil. Nothing more, nothing less. It's not great on its own, but does shine when you hit it with a bit of acid, like vinegar. It helps cut through the fattiness of the oil.

First time tasting muffuletta so didn’t have any expectations. With that said i agree that this brand is pretty oily with not much flavor. Found a brand at Giant Eagle that taste better and costs 3x less!

I bought this to make muffalettas, but ended up putting it on pretty much every sandwich that cruises through the kitchen. Also good eaten with a spoon. A big spoon.

Flavor

As a native raised on these sandwiches finding or making a good olive salad is rare. Dear Sally nailed it.

I got this product for the name, my kids have an Aunt Sally! We all LOVED it! My in-laws used to make it and this comes as close as I’ve tasted.
