Best for trekking
I compared this with lonely planet and national geography books and I feel this is a better book for prep if your focus is trekking. I ended up finding most of the info from the book.

Hands down best guidebooks EVER!!!
I have been a devoted user of Trailblazer trail guides for several years now. I have used them to successfully complete the England Coast to Coast hike, England's full South West Coast Path (in one go, which took 3 of their guidebooks), the Tour du Mont Blanc, and the Trek to Everest Base Camp.I am always evangelizing the series and every hiker I show the guides to marvels at the far superiority of the mapping and information inside, so hopefully I have gotten a few to switch over from the woefully underwhelming Cicerone series. The absolute comprehensive coverage of Trailblazer guides has officially spoiled me from ever being able to use another source!I am so thankful for the brilliant work their group does to keep hikers like me on the right track and giving me the confidence to take on any trail through any terrain anywhere in the world.

Useless
Was not what I was looking for. I am going to climb the Annapurna pass and island peak. The book was useless to me

Great book
Pretty fast shipment and the book itself gives you a lot of information about the trekking in the Everest region and even Nepal itself.

Specific to the Everest region, no fluff
I'm doing Everest BC this year and wanted a book that distils the main information without the broader less focussed content of a Lonely Planet or Rough Guide. This book is pretty straight to the point and helps to focus on all the key information regards routes, planning, booking options, itinerary, etc. It does tend to provide many different options for routes to the same end point which can get a little cluttered but at the end of the day there are many ways to get to the same end point! Think more detailed (maybe colour?) maps would enhance the aesthetic appeal. So, I'm looking forward to using this book during my trek later this year, keeping notes during the adventure. There aren't many options for guide books out there but Trailblazer have done another decent job with this. Recommended

Excellent Book
This is an excellent book explaining all about trekking in Nepal, everything is covered to ensure you plan and enjoy a trek in the Himalayas. It is full of details and useful asides, and the route descriptions and maps are very detailed, including maps showing tea houses in each major settlement. A must have, couldn’t come more highly recommended.
