This is a very well made blade. It is working as I would have expected it to.Never pass up the opportunity to buy something made in America.I will definitely buy from this seller again.

After reading the reviews on this blade I hesitated to purchase it. One review where a customer said they installed it onto a Toro mower and it was horrible and another, but two stating they had installed it on a Toro mower and it worked perfectly. This led me to wait on my purchase to process whether on not it would work for me.I did buy the blade and followed up by checking the blade for balance. I put a clean edge on it with very little work using a draw filing technique, basically cleaning off the factory paint from the blade, then installed it using the correct washer and a spacer below the washer to hold it in place due to the clamp provided by the manufacturer of my mower.This blade is fierce, I cut my lawn in the pouring rain the first time out due to the weather where I live and the grass cut sooo perfect I was blown away!! I have now cut my lawn four separate times and cannot believe how much better it cuts than the factory blade did.

Seems like a good blade, but it took a couple times mowing our yard to get it to actually cut consistently. The paint that is on the blade causes the grass to slip. After the paint is worn off, the blade cuts well.

Put this on a 5hp, 22" Craftsman self propelled rear bagger mower. Took some head scratchin to get it mounted with the right adapters but there was enough to choose from and I got it mounted. Clearance to the sides of the deck was close but it did clear in my case. Edge was ok out of the package but I passed the file over it a couple of times to get a really good edge. This blade is heavier than the OEM but the 5hp engine seemed to pull it ok. I bag every time I mow (even though this is a mulching blade). It seemed to generate more lift and leave fewer clippings on the lawn. I did not see a noticeable difference in the size of the clippings left. I did run it thru some tall, heavy Bermuda grass without the bag just to see how it would work as a mulcher. Chopped thru it pretty good and left smaller clippings with no clumps trailing behind like the standard blade would with no bag.. Most likely from the clippings being trapped under the mower longer allowing the "serrated" edges to do there thing better. Ain't a bad deal. Better than the choices at Lowes, Sears or Home Depot.

The lawnmower I have is old, a "curbside special" as my dad would put it, that someone was throwing away. It runs fine but the blade on it was in pretty rough shape. After sharpening it myself the last few years I decided to spring for a new one. It went on quick and easy and does a very nice job cutting the grass. I can't speak to the mulching ability as my particular mower isn't designed for mulching, sadly.But I have noticed the airflow with this blade is awesome. It does a heck of a job filling the grass catcher bag as compared to my old blade.

Hardware included for universal install. Installed in minutes. Seems well balanced and has a clean cut. Time will tell if it was worth the few extra bucks for this style. Original Husqvarna blade was paper thin after two years of light duty Florida lawn mowing.

Fit my older Stanley mower. Easy to install. Works great and is sharp. Blade is heavier then the OEM one. My engine is a 6.5 horse so it has no issues. Not sure on lower HP mowers.

It didn't fit my Toro recycling lawnmower. This blade is flat in the middle and doesn't fit correctly with Toro's mounting hardware (which has a curve in it). In my opinion it shouldn't be listed as a universal blade...or at the very least should specify that it doesn't fit certain Toros. I'm not sure how the other reviewer installed his, or even if it's done safely, but it's clearly not conformed to fit mine. If your mounting bracket is completely flat across the middle (the area approx. 2-3 inches either side of where the bolt goes through), then this one should fit fine. But if yours is curved, or you can see that the blade you're replacing is, go with a Toro-specific blade so you know it has the curve in it.I wasn't able to use it so I can't comment on the blade's effectiveness. It could work very well as some users suggest, but I wasn't able to get to the point of trying it.One more thing to note...don't get caught up in the whole "Gold metal" thing. It's just gold-colored paint which will come off very easily. Mine arrived with little chips already gone, exposing the metal underneath (which was starting to rust).

This blade is definitely well made (Made in the USA). It came sharp, but the paint may make it feel less so until it wears off.There was some slop between the universal hole size and my mower's 5 point star pattern which could cause the blade to mount off-center and vibrate like crazy. To fix this, I cut a thin strip of aluminum (stripped solid core copper wire would work too) which I wrapped around the 5-point star. After that, the blade fit nicely.Sadly, this was too much blade for my 140cc 22" mower. I had to switch back to a regular blade as the engine couldn't handle all the extra work. While it was running, it did chop up the clippings into pretty small pieces, and the windage sound it made was fierce, like running a weed wacker and a mower at the same time.I'll save this blade for when I replace my road-find mower with one that can handle this beast of a blade.

Used it all summer. Easy to sharpen.

Bought this as a replacement for my existing mulching blade. Despite the hype it doesn’t cut or mulch any better than my old blade.
