Like many other reviewers, they sent me only 7 felting animals instead of 8 and one animal was duplicated. I had 8 children at my child's party and my daughter ended up not getting to do her craft. She was so upset. I even sent the company a request to send one more felting animal so my child could do it later, but big surprise, no reply. Not cool; this is for kids!

I gave this to a 7 year old who wants to learn to sew. I liked the punched holes around the edges and the animals looked cute in the ad. However, the directions are minimal, and the only pictures to use as a reference are on the tiny label on the outside of the box. The first animal we tried to sew was missing a piece. The instructions are to use a buttonhole stitch, which is too difficult for most kids. We just used a straight stitch. It was challenging to match the prepunched holes, but not impossible. The needles included are flexible plastic, which is fine. Overall, not a great product.
