My old one was .5 J and my male goat acted like it was nothing kept damaging my fence to get to the other side where the ladies were bought this one which is 1J and he won’t go near it and he’s a big bull bore

This works great around my beehive. I live out in the woods and have had a problem with black bears tearing my hive apart, killing my bees and destroying the frames. This gives a good enough jolt to deter them and does not do any lasting harm to the bear. Works great and has been reliable so far.

Its always a gamble on fence chargers.
