Amazing book
IT'S one of the best books I have had, I should have bought it before. Thank for this amazing book it is very friendly and good enough to understand the most common pathologies about heart diseases.

A great book from one of the best in the animal cardiology field!!!
An excellent textbook about small animal cardiology. I've heard Dr. Gordon speak at several veterinary conferences, and was happy to find a copy of this text to compliment her lectures. A well-done text!

Great Cardio Book
This book is very helpful but in an understandable and concise way. My only complaint is the lack of an index, but the table of contents is very in depth and can assist you in finding what you need most of the time.

SO glad I didn't buy it
I won this book at a cardio CE. SO glad I didn't buy it. It may have some great information, but there is no index to look things up. The table of contents is pretty descriptive, but you have to search for way too long to find what you are looking for. The Foreward says "This manual was designed to serve as a quick and practical reference manual for the busy general practitioner." WHAT?!!? What do we as veterinarians do when we have a problem we are dealing with? We run to the book shelf, we look up the most pressing clinical sign and try to find the quickest ABC, 123 to get us going before we do more in depth research. If you are working on a full book of appointments, with walk ins and work ins and emergencies there is no time to leisurely read through a book and become an expert or look through pages and pages of a table of contents. I had a dog in the exam room with bradycardia yesterday. Today I took the time to look through this book. . remember NO INDEX. 25 pages into it, having to search and search and search I found bradyarrhythmias. . . 25 pages of scanning. How about flipping to the back, finding bradyarrhythmia and turning to page 359? I would like to READ this book and get a bigger brain on the subject of Small Animal Cardiology, but it is definitely NOT a quick reference. I'd look elsewhere, or wait until another edition and maybe they will add an index.
