The Best So Far
We use flush cutters often in our low voltage trade and the Irwin diagonal cutters have out lasted them all. Mild steel, tin, plastics, and copper are no problem for these cutters. Very durable as well.Pros:Durable, cuts all plastics, mild steel, affordableCons:Sometimes can be difficult to find online.

Must have for electronics work
These are great little flush cutters. The handles are nice and thick, so they are easy to hold. The spring action works well. The tip is off center, so there is a sharper point on one of the sides, which helps a bit for precision. They are very small, yet feel sturdy, and there is no wobble. Very little force is required to use them, and they have stops to prevent them from opening or closing too far, which many other small cutters do not have.I used these to assemble electronics, and they snip soldered leads very close to the board. They also work well for cutting small wires, and can clean cut copper braid/wick in one pass.

Great tool for wire cutting.
I used these diagonal cutters for over 3 years, and after all that time they showed no signs of wear. So, when I lost them I ordered another pair. I did not think of ordering or buying anything else.I am a technician building/working on enclosures, power supplies PLC's, etc. for automation equipment. These flush cut pliers are the perfect tool for cutting wire (12 to 24 AWG).I highly recommend them!

Great for smallish flush-cutting jobs...very comfortable grips are an added plus
I've always been happy with Irwin tools. These small flush-cutting snips are perfect for small to medium-sized jobs. The grips are cushioned for maximum comfort and to reduce hand fatigue. They're designed to provide higher leverage for more power with each squeeze of the grips. The jaws are spring-loaded which makes the cutting even easier...in fact, they're so easy to cut with that they're almost overkill when used for cutting fine, delicate wire. The steel cutting edge seems to be hardened sufficiently to prevent nicking of the blade -- although they don't really seem up to the task of thicker gauge stainless steel wire. I use them primarily for cutting up to 14 gauge copper, sterling, brass, and aluminum wire as well as half-round.I'm careful to not overburden them with jobs they're not equipped to handle and they've remained nicely sharp for some time now.

Great little cutters at a fair price.
My wife commandeered my cutters to make her flower pens and wore down the cutting blades a bit cutting through thick artificial flower stems. I decided to order a new and hopefully sharp pair for use when working on car alarm and stereo installs. These were rated highly and are a good size. They are high quality cutters and work great for my purposes. My wife liked them too so I ended up getting her a pair also before she started using my new ones for her crafts. They are not very big so not great for heavy gauge wire but perfect for standard automotive wires aside from very heavy power cables for amps and such.

perfect for computer cabling
Pros: works great; ergonomic palm-sized so perfect size to get into small places plus my hands don't hurt the next day; points are not sharp enough to gouge wires or humans but cuts well on the blade - these are cutters not snips and I like thatCons: none at all; well...they are more expensive than some, but the value makes up for the cost; cheap tools are bad newsOther: highly recommend to anyone who must constantly cut zip-ties and wires inside enclosed spaces

Sharp and precise, but fragile
Chipped the point after a year's use or so.Ground it down and made it useful again. Then, it "notched" its blade on some mild steel, not by a cutting attempt, but just by using it as a gripper.Useful only for copper and soft metals.

Great pair of cutters!!
I work in structured cabling, mainly with CAT 6 and CAT 6A cable. These cutters are superb and are a always with me when I’m at work.Build quality is amazing, though the spring can occasionally come out of its place, but that’s easily fixed
