Stress reliever and cute!
TL;DR - Loud but muteable, colorful, and tactile with 3500 levels & can be played to destress or relieve anxiety. 10/10 recommend! The color button gets pressed each time you are done placing a puzzle piece so that you can roam from color to color. I like that because I tend to be sporadic with my intentions while ADHDy. hahaTurning the sound off can be done by pressing the difficulty button (round button). A long press will mute and a single press will change the difficulty from easiest to hardest (1-5300). Children can play this but so can adults and the elderly. I like this and will buy more as gifts in the future. If you're someone who enjoys fidget toys or is satisfied by the tactile nature of pressing buttons, this will make you happy. I'd recommend this highly for anyone who is ADHD, anxiety-ridden, or nervous. The colors are another way you can play this game as I tend to lose focus sometimes but starting out with numbers and feeling my focus being pulled, I'll change to the colors instead to pull myself back in. I wouldn't recommend this as a car activity unless you're positive you won't lose your pieces. Even in a ziplock, I don't think I'd trust/risk it.The size is great, like an XL calculator, so it's large enough for even large hands, but not big for petite hands to keep hold of. I have an astigmatism that gets fatigued when around bright light or colors for too long and although these colors are bright they don't hurt my eyes or give me a headache. The only con I can think of is it does not include the 3 AA batteries you need to start play but does come with a screwdriver to open the back up to place them in. We have a collection of every battery thinkable, so this wasn't an issue in our household but I can see how one might side-eye that. lolOverall I highly recommend and totally stand by a 5-star review for this. It's nice to destress with and fun to play with others as well.

Great for Sudoku Fans, But Requires Patience
This is a fun and engaging game, but I’d only recommend it for true Sudoku fans. It takes some patience to understand how to play, but once you get the hang of it, it’s enjoyable. My 9-year-old figured it out on her own and loves playing. It comes neatly packaged and is a great game to sit down and play with family. If you enjoy puzzles and brain games, this is a good one to have!

what?
I'm not going to lie, I never figured this one out. I love sudoku but I'll stick to playing it on paper.

Interactive version
I love playing Sudoku every night and this is such a fun interactive version! I also love that I don’t run out of games like I do with the book version, and this version is so much more entertaining.

It's a nostalgic type of game
The media could not be loaded. This game was immediately nostalgic upon opening, it reminds me of some of the handheld games from the 80. The console itself has some heft, and because all of the pieces are loose I don't think this would be a good travel game unless you have an excellent tray that can handle turbulence with loose pieces. If you plan to take this on the road, it does come with a cover for when all the pieces are in place. This games is a little fussy to put together, I think it took us about 4 minutes to set up the game board as adults who understand the concept of suduko. The actual numbers aren't recognized by the board, you need to select the right color after placing a piece. There is immediate feedback on if you've placed a piece incorrectly, which I think is great for beginners to the game. There are also a ton of preloaded levels and thousands of individual puzzles.I think this would be a great game for people who are maybe in a mental decline and need to keep both their brains and hands active (cathartic game play and nostalgic design). This would also be an excellent game for kids of parents who do their best to stay away from screen. I had bought this for a 5yo, but I think she may need to play in the 4x4 mode.Considering the quality of the console, the preloaded games and levels, plus the ability to do PvP with a second console, I would purchase another one of these!

Way more work than its worth
The media could not be loaded. I was really excited about this because I love playing sudoku, but it is very annoying to use. You have to remove all of the little numbers and place them down and press an extra button for each one in order to set up the game and choose a number. The instructions provided were not very helpful either and I also didn’t realize that they only have the numbers 1-6 rather than 1-9 like sudoku normally has. It took a while to figure out how to turn off the irritating noise that goes on with every button you press. And it also doesn’t come with a space to keep the pieces when you pull them out, so if you lose one, you are just out of luck. Overall, it is a nice idea, but poorly executed and I won’t be using it past writing this review.

Good but could be improved
You can mute this, by the way--by long pressing the circle button. The circle button is the one you use to adjust difficulty level (pics show lowest difficulty L1 lvl3, and highest difficulty L5 lvl402.)The 6x6 is not as satisfying as 9x9, but it's also pretty tedious confirming each piece. My instinct was to set the color and then press the position to confirm, but for some reason you have to press the piece and then press the color, every time. I'm not sure what the point of having the color button stay lit up is if you can't just leave it set to the color you want to confirm. It is less annoying than the versions where you have to press it the number of times on the piece, at least.I'm not sure how much this would appeal to adults that enjoy sudoku when a book of puzzles is about the same size and already set up for you. The tactility is nice, especially if you're a fidgeter, but it feels like a lot of wasted time. I would recommend for kids, anyone with a short attention span, or who just wants to keep their hands busy. I would imagine if you are dyslexic the colors are easier than numbers.

Kids game
Great puzzle game for anyone. Even better to get the kids off the TV and thinking more.
