Great idea!
For those that like their adult beverages (beer, wine, cocktails) served ice cold, this set of 6 freezer glasses is ideal! Each is double walled and is filled with a freezable gel. Just pop them in the freezer and take out as needed and fill with your poison of choice without dilution that comes from ice cubes. Keeps them icy cold for much longer than needed to consume them! With a set of 6, you can have enough on hand to share, or to have one clean any time you need a drink. I love that each has a lid and straw to cut down on spills and to help keep the cold in. I really like these and would recommend their purchase to others.

They work!
OK, first the bad....1. Those straws. Terrible idea. They bend/crush too easy, are a pain to wash, and the cups have lids with a "sip" opening anyway!2. Lids are hit/miss re: leaking and warping.3. No real insulation (outside of the cups were freezing too). Minor point, really. The GOOD:1. Indoors at 79F with low humidity.... Fill cup with ice about 75% then add drink.--Without the lid, they stayed really cold for about 45min, and keep the drinks desirably cold for about 2 hours. With the lid, it was 70 min, and 2.5 hours, respectively. I did not measure temps inside the cups.--Outdoors, out of sunlight, at 102F, they rapidly lost the "really cold" status, but kept drinks reasonably cold for about 30min. With the lid, this stretches to 45min at times.--In direct sunlight and heat, they stretched the "cool" drink out about 20min longer than a normal plastic cup.2. No condensation to speak of (compared to a "normal" cup). They do "fog" on the outside, but no major moisture concerns.3. They "freeze"/reset pretty quickly.4. We put one in the dishwasher 5 nights in a row (no heat dry), and it survived just fine. It's lid however, warped. Then in the top rack we ran the dishwasher with the heat dry on. Still survived.5. Drop tested the "sacrificial" cup from 4 ft:--Workshop/plywood floor: Just fine.--Indoor "wood" floor (semi-cushioned): Just fine.--Outdoor concrete: Rim came loose, and the bottom cracked open.So we now we have 5 new freezer cups in the mix, and they are getting regular use since it's still hot out!
