Bamboo Utensils
The best part of this set is that it has more forks than spoons or knives. Forks are the one thing we always go through twice as fast so the fact that they doubled the forks makes this set much more cost effective than others. It is always better to use a renewable resource, like bamboo, for more disposable utensils instead of putting a ton of plastic iminto the waste system.

Thinner than plastic
I ordered this set because I like being eco-friendly. I plan on having some garden to table meals and I didn't want to use plastic because even if I were to buy the upgraded ones, some people would throw them away from habit. With these, I'm hoping I can reuse them, but if I can't they can be thrown into the garden to eventually break does and actually the forks would come in handy for bracing young starts up while the spoons and knives could be used as plant markers. The thinness of these means they take up much less room than plastic so this whole set fits in a box that doesn't take much room in my cabinet. The knives are serrated but not very sharp. I think they will still work for my meals which are plant based though I can't see them cutting any root vegetables unless those are well cooked and softer. I think the bamboo will fit in very well with the gardening to reduce waste and environmental impact theme especially since I will be using reusable plates. unolless I also order some bamboo plates which I can add to my compost. These seem like they will be just as sturdy as the thinner plastic ware but not quite as sturdy as the thicker plastic utensils available at most restaurants that people still throw away and waste. I like that these won't be ping into a landfill even if I serve food that would stain them to make them not reusable for meals, tjhey can still return to the garden to break down. These aren't quite as smooth as I would have preferred so not very confident on the wash and reuse but since they can have a purpose in the garden I'm okay with that. I'm just not sure that the quality is good enough that it would inspire more of my guests to change to bamboo.

Awesome Sustainable Option
I try to minimize plastic and single-use things in general in our household, so I bought these for a Halloween party we hosted. Most of what we had was finger food but I do still like to have flatware available for guests and am always looking for sustainable options. These utensils were sturdy and did the job. We have lots leftover so I'll put them out at our next event and will update the review if/when they get put to more of an actual test, but I'm expecting good things. While I'll probably keep ordering alternatives until I decide on a go-to set/brand, this one is a good contender!

Tastes like bamboo
The spoons are a little flat. Not a fan. I had high hope for these since they are compostable or degradable.

A useful bunch
These bamboo utensils definitely get the job done. Although I did find it odd that the spoons were flimsier than the forks and knives. The longer part was very bendy, I only used those for yogurt and soft foods. The forks and knives held up better. I did not have issues or difficulties picking up food with these, overall they’re great for what their purpose is.

Great for one time Use needs
These biodegradable disposable utensils bring a classier look to backyard barbeques, parties, and picnics. The pair well with paper plates or even better palm leaf plates and bowls which I was able to snag from Vine as well. Then the best part there is no guilt to trash because they will break down in trash compound or compost.

Disposable or reusable
Love the fact that you can reuse these and/or toss them when you like. Obviously not for T-bone steak night, but we’ve used them for just about everything else with great ease.Renewable resource and recyclable as well. Plastics are horrible for our environment. So, in this very small way, it feels nice not to being to a huge problem. They are a tad less thick than “quality” plastic cutlery, but by no means have we found this to be a problem with functionality. In my opinion, if you need something more sturdy you just use normal cutlery. The knives were surprisingly robust for cutting as a side note. They are delivered in all environmentally friendly packaging and are very nicely presented and separated by utensil category wrapped in, you guessed it, environmentally friendly and renewable resources.I do think they are a few dollars high in terms of value, however I still feel like it is worth it.Recommend
