When our adopted adult Doberman came to live with us he was not leash trained. Walks were painful, not for him but for me. I am petite but workout regularly and am quite strong. But you guessed it...he was much, much stronger than I was. I was constantly pulled no matter what redirections, what corrective action, or what treat I utilized. I even went to an enclosed, defunct tennis court to practice with no distractions, but the pulling persisted. The pulling progressed to the point that I could no longer walk him as an old back injury had flared up because of the pulling. Not only was my movement limited but also most movements were painful. I became so uncomfortable that I could no longer walk him and had to enlist the aid of my husband and son. Finally after days of research, I found a consumer information evaluation of a variety of dog harnesses; Rabbitgoo (I agree a strange name for sure) was the number one of all those evaluated. With promising reviews and a reasonable price, I decided to order one. When it arrived both my husband and I were very impressed with the quality of the materials and the construction. There is no choke component whatsoever. The harness is made of a nice weight, durable nylon that is padded for the dog's comfort. It slides easily over his head, and he does not mind wearing it at all. The harness attaches behind his front legs fastening with two heavy duty plastic fasteners onto to his back. There is a hand sized nylon loop on the back of the harness for extra control if needed and two metal rings where the leash attaches; one is on the back and the other on the front. The one in front is the one to be used for pulling prevention. In addition to reflective stitching, four straps provide for easy adjustments on the chest and neck which enable the harness to be customized to the dog as well as to grow with the dog. There are absolutely no worries about the dog slipping out of the harness. Having used the harness for 4 months there has been no noticeable wear and tear on any portion of it. The straps remain intact with no loose threads or fraying, the adjustments of the straps for size and fit do not relax or loosen, and no areas of irritation have appeared on my dog's skin or hair. Since using the harness walking has remarkably improved. I need to add that the harness did not work miracles, but it certainly helped tremendously. Since our dog was so big and I am quite petite we enlisted the aid of a trainer to ensure that I was in control, and with the aid of the harness I could manage him solely on my own. The two combined have completely solved the pulling problem. The dog knows I am the leader and the challenging behavior has disappeared. Walking is now a pleasure and a joy for both me and my dog. I am confident and secure with my dog in this harness whether we are out for a walk or at the vet's office. This harness is available in 5 sizes and 18 colors. A size chart is provided to aid with choosing the correct size, so if you have an extra small pup or a very large one, don't fret there is a harness suited for your dog, and with all of those different colors any canine can be completely accessorized and coordinated as you proudly step out in style with your dog at your side.

I love that this harness comes with both a regular hook on the back, as well as a no pull front hook on the front! There are some times when I feel I need to use the front hook because my 30 lb pomsky just is way to hyperactive and wants to fricken pull me the entire time on our walk, but when I switch to the no pull in the front, he immediately stops pulling. However, he does sometimes try to alter the harness so that it doesn’t feel uncomfortable for him if he does try to pull, but that’s just him being the clever guy that he is lol this harness has most definitely helped out for example when we r getting out of the car and he is excited and immediately wants to start yanking me in every direction even tho I am trying to get my phone/shut the door, etc. and am not ready to walk THAT VERY second… with this harness it makes it a lil uncomfortable to pull because of where the front hook is, and it has definitely helped when I need him to not dart out of the car and immediately start pulling me. Now, almost a year later, I don’t need to use the front hook as much because he understands a lil bit better now to not pull on walks or I have to restrain him from doing so with the front hook, which he can get a lil frustrated with because he CANNOT pull me with it haha. So it has definitely helped in training him to not pull. Overall, I like harnesses a lot better because he is so hyperactive, if I just took him for a walk with a regular collar, (and sometimes I do if he just needs to use the bathroom for ex. at night after we have gone to bed already) and sometimes he will be overly excited and because he yanks on the leash, it causes him to choke himself and causes him to stop and cough. I do not like when he does this as I feel he is causing himself strain when he doesn’t need to, so I try to always put the harness on whenever we go outside on the leash, and if he must pull me, he at least isn’t choking himself out!!

Purchased harness and it lasted one day because the clip broke on one of the sides. I returned it for an exchange. Bought it because I've been hooking his leash to his collar and the breed that I have has a very sensitive and fragile throat. I didn't want to tug at him to get his leash connected when I walked in the door while he was jumping up and down to greet me!! Company's customer service is amazing! The replacement harness came within 2 days of my request for an exchange. Due to the heat of over 100° days it took me a minute ( days) to drop it off the return harness at Kohl's. This harness is one of the better harnesses I've used for my dog. Throughout the years I have purchased harnesses for other dogs, about six different brands of harnesses and this company is the best! The most comfortable fit, easy to slip on when he's jumping around and secure. He's 15 lb with 14 inch chest circumference. I purchased a size small, black . At first I thought it was too small and realized I had put it on him upside down! Oh boy! I had to adjust the straps to fit his little chest & body a few times when he first wore it. This harness keeps me from tugging his collar near his throat and protects him, fits amazingly. I swear once I got it to fit properly, he was going on walks, walking around extra proud, showing it off to the neighbors!

Tried several no-pull collars and harnesses on my high pull dog. He would pull on his collar leash, especially when his prey drive kicks in to the point he was wheezing. From the first time I put this on he stopped pulling during walks. I guess the leash on the chest loop is self correcting each time he tries to go a different direction. Although, if he sees a rabbit or squirrel, he will still chase but a harness is easier to rein him in and doesn't choke his windpipe.Adjustment is a little tricky, requiring repeated tries over a few walks to get the right size around both the chest and the neck. The chest loop has an elastic section, which I wished the neck loop had too. Otherwise it is working out great for me and the dog.

I browsed through so many harness for my havanese (11 lbs) and there was always something wrong. Either the measurements didn't fit, it had no anti-pull, reviews mentioned the dog escaping.... I went ahead with this one because the measurements were right on the mark. I got size XS as per the guide and the fit is perfect. I can hook him up either at the front or the back. I don't see how he could escape from this, but just for my own peace of mind, I also ordered a safety thing that I will attach from the unused ring to his collar. I don't have that yet so I was a bit nervous for our firat walk with it this morning, but it went really well. Attached him at the back and even though that's not the anti pulling ring, it did ease the pulling quite a bit. Definitely recommend for a small dog.

This dog harness is good quality and fits well. We have a Cockapoo and it makes it so much easier to take him for walks and he likes warring it.

Harness shipped very fast and arrived on time! Colors are very vibrant and easy to adjust for proper fit. Seems to be very durable as well, as we have had this now for 2 years and still going strong!!
