They work for my wife. She was struggling with a single stick. Maybe a balance issue, as her arms won't support much weight. She has been up and down the hallway twice as quick.

I'm 5'7,5 with a deteriorating hip. These crutches bear up well and can be adjsuted to accomodate my heaight. I'll be adding cuff and handle padding, but they're comfortable and a good buy. They are lightwieght, but will be just a durable as an adjustable cane. So, it should last.

These are perfect! They are not exactly as shown in the picture, but nevertheless, they are sturdy, well made and adjust to be the right height for me. (5'3") I couldn't have asked for anything better.
