This edition was much easier to read and understand. It makes the importance of spending time with GOD much easier to comprehend. I look forward to reading it many more times and possibly others by Brother Lawrence

Intimacy with God and living life knowing that He is to blame for everything, seemingly good and seemingly bad!! Brother Lawrence made knowing God intimately his top priority. This book is very encouraging and inspiring!! As is all the books on Amazon from The Naked Apostles, Phil and Colleen Livingston. They are the current, NOW end time prophets that truly live out relationship with God as Brother Lawrence did!! Check them out and be blessed in reading their resources as well!!

Great will is needed to be concentrated on a subject for long periods. Yet Bro Law. Seems to effortlessly be absorbed with the presence of God 24/7!Always think on him...how to please him (God) Bro Law tells us.An easy humble book..In/by faith God's love shows up...says Bro Law.No enlightenment Formulas here...just steadfast seeing God all in all.

Book is great...albeit not what I expected at all. It is a collection of letters that give a glimpse at one man’s method. It isn’t a go by but you do pick up tips. The afterward is odd fitting. The forward is fine and even helpful. The letters themselves reveal dialogue that today some might take offense to, but Brother Lawrence strikes me as more frank, than harsh.

The conversations and letter are meaningful to Brother Lawrance. They are repetitive in his statements but his calling was to help us understand we must think of God 24/7 so we can hear what God has for us and what we need in God's love.

The translation read well and the additions by the editor were very helpful. This was a great buy on Kindle and I recommend it to any serious Christian.

This tiny book is giant. Only a slim document is speaks volumes and delivers a significant impact to the mind and heart of any spiritual or religious person.When you hear what Brother Laurence has to say you wonder what you have been doing with your prayer life.I encourage anyone interested in prayer, spirituality or religion, call it what you like, to read this book and to put into practice what find in it that you see as important to you.I started highlighting passages and in the first half of the book I realised I had almost highlighted the whole thing.Brother Laurence cracked the cosmic shell and fell into the spiritual world. I am not a Christian but even I can see that when he died he was deep in a relationship with the Lord.We are all missing by miles and Brother Laurence hit the target with such a love that this short collection of documents about him have shone across the centuries like the torchlight of knowledge, a beacon to the spiritual seeker.This volume is tiny and there is little space for imparting anything, but Brother Laurence points the finger at the moon of truth so accurately that you could be forgiven for wondering if you have ever really seen that moon in your life before, even though its been hanging overhead forever.Almost every other book I have ever read pales into insignificance in comparison to to this. Stop looking and start finding. Read this book now, don’t wait.
