Needed this a a spare for inspecting my bees. Lightweight great for just having a quick peak.

This product loses a star as it needs a little modification to be ideal. It has only been used once so I can't yet comment on durability, stitching etc.First use of this was for my wife assisting me on a colony inspection. She received no stings, and felt confident.If you see the image you'll notice a bee-sized hole in the top of the hat - a feature not noticed yesterday...Also, for anyone who is concerned about the writing on the band, ours came without any text at all on it. No "MADE IN CHINA" or "Ronaldinho" - just plain band.This product could probably be greatly improved but for a budget veil it's not a bad place to start.

Had to sort a wasps nest, in the house eves with the usual powder, but being 25ft up a ladder no quick getaway was available when they swarmed. This worked brilliantly zero stings got to me through it.

Great veil ideal to throw on with other suitable attire even though the neighbours now think I am obsessed with Brazilian football. Small price to pay for a very useful hat

Hat good and looks like it will do the trick very nicely. Did not like the band around the hat - horrid cheap band with large bold print "made in China" all round it - not as shown on pic and was removed and replaced with something more suitable.

Great product for working near your bees without getting stung as I’ve found they tend to go for our face (carbon dioxide) but this hat solves the problem. We still use a full bee suit to inspect bees. I gave it a 4 as the straps that go under the arms could do with being adjustable. Also netting would be good if it fit over shoulders. However despite that it does the job.

Die Krempe hält die Gaze sicher vom Gesicht fern, der luftige Strohhut ist angenehmer als mancher andere warme Schleier. Der Gummi verhindert das Eindringen unerwünschter Gäste sicher, die Durchsicht ist gut. Wichtig: der Hut wird unter den Achseln fixiert, der Schutz reicht also nur etwa so tief. Der Imker sollte also für sichere Oberbekleidung sorgen, der Hut ist kein Ersatz für eine Imkerjacke.

La rete del cappello è sufficientemente fitta per impedire che gli insetti possano raggiungere il viso. Per chi come mio nonno va spesso in campagna è davvero utile e comodo.
