Comfortable After Break-In, But Color Could Be More Versatile
I picked up the Rockport Maverick Plain Toe Oxfords for work and semi-casual occasions, and overall, I think they’re a solid choice. The build quality feels sturdy, and the leather has a premium look and feel. They offer good support, especially under the arch, and once broken in, they’re quite comfortable for all-day wear.That said, the break-in period is definitely noticeable. The leather starts out a bit stiff, and it took me a few wears (and some thick socks) to get past the initial tightness. But once they soften up, they feel great.One thing to keep in mind is the color. The shade I got has kind of a reddish or warm tone that doesn’t pair easily with all pant colors—especially anything outside of the basics like black, navy, or khaki. I wish the color scheme was a little more neutral or versatile.Still, if you’re patient with the break-in and stick to more classic wardrobe colors, these are a reliable, good-looking pair of shoes.

Good for making big feet look smaller
I take size 12 shoes and they always look like size 15s mainly because of the width. These shoes are not as wide but very comfortable and my feet don't look like clodhoppers. I have a similar pair of shoes but they must be an inch wider and I never liked them for that reason. Plus, my feet float in them. Rockport has always been a good, sturdy brand and worth the money.

I like this shoe a lot
This is a casual, everyday office and walking around shoe for me. I'm not putting them through the ringer, but I've been wearing them almost daily for a few months now. They're extremely comfortable and significantly lighter than any other shoes I own. And they look nice. Time will tell how long they'll last, but I feel like I've already received my money's worth. I would buy again.
