Got this for my wife for when she had all of her teeth extracted. It stays cold for a long time, adjusts to fit almost any size cranium, and really helps with the swelling. I would recommend having this in your house for any time of jaw, facial pain, or even headaches

So this is your standard gel pack that can be either hot or cold. The instructions provided with it say to boil water and them soak the gel packs to heat them, and don't mention microwaves at all. The product page does, however, so I tried that. It works like any other gel pack, so that method should be fine, but it's kinda weird the provided instructions don't mention that.The wrap on your head has a few things I take issue with, the first being that the velcro being right at the top of your head means that my hair kept getting caught up in it and pulled. It'd be ideal if that was addressed somehow, either by moving it or modifying it in some way to make that less likely. The second thing that I wasn't a fan of was that the ice packs themselves have one thick end and one thin end, and to take them in and out of the wrap they have to go through an elastic opening that is about the size of the thin end. This means that when the pack is either freezer cold or freshly hot, you need to spend time manipulating it through that closure and it's kind of a thing to do. I think an easy improvement here would be to replace the elastic closure with a simple velcro closure, or no closure method at all and just leave the pocket open because once it's on your face the compression should keep the packs in there anyway.It does work, though, and if you need targeted relief at your jaw for any reason, you'll be glad to have this product. If that's what you need, go for it, but go into it knowing the potential cons in the design.

Durability, ease of use, size, pain relief and design are great. The only downside is that it doesn’t stay cold very long.

Once out of freezer its very cold and stays cold for a while . I had no issues with fit.

My older son had his wisdom teeth out last year and we bought a similar headband and it was great. He took it with him to his house so I tried to buy the same one for my other son who just had his wisdom teeth out and it is not the same. The pocket openings for the ice packs are way to small and not very easy to get the ice pack into. Bad product design.

When we needed this, we couldn’t find one anywhere in the stores in our area, so I’m happy to have this on hand just in case. The instructions are clear, and it can be used hot or cold. Fits comfortably. Ice packs can be a little difficult to get down in the slots, but it works.

This ice and heat pack has a soft outer shell that is gentle on the skin. The ice packs can be slid in and out, but stay in place well. It Velcros to itself and can be easily used around the head and jaw line or anywhere wrapped around your body, such as your arm or leg. No complaints, works great and stays cool for a while or heated for a while. Gel is a firmer flexible gel that does not leak.
