I have a small PU chair and ottoman I bought a few years ago. The material has started flaking off on the arms and seams of the seat. The chair is still sturdy and comfortable, so I was looking for something to extend its life a bit longer. This has worked well. I was tying knee highs around the arms before because the rough texture was irritating my arms. This is sticking well and is smooth. Doesn't quite match the color, but not bad and certainly looks better than knotted knee highs. For the price, it's a good temporary fix.

The roll is a good amount for the price . The material is not like leather thickness, is Rather very fine, the thickness. Has a very strong adhesive that would attach immediately . Once you place it, it’s glued for good! You better make template of the area you need to recover, otherwise you’ll be wasting lots of material. Adheres very well to leather, fabric, wood, and a rubber sole, Pretty Good stuff!! I purchased a black color, however is not a pure black, is rather more like a charcoal black, and a flat color. This material is very durable up to a degree, nothing like leather. Once you scrape it, then is gone. But it does Takes a lot of effort to scrape it off. I would buy more in different colors if I need it, but the color palette is limited. Not gold, silver, copper, bronze, light gray, or pastel colors. Then again whose many people would need this colors right? Try It!!!

My husband's vehicle has seen better days and looks like it got into a fight with a werewolf. I have no idea how he has managed to get his car seat to look like this, as *to my knowledge* he is not secretly a werewolf nor are any of this friends.But here we are and while he was content to ignore the progressive trauma being inflicted upon this seat, I felt like there had to be a a better way.I came across this leather tape while researching ways to repair a small tear in my mom's couch and found myself amazed and shocked at the variety of applications for this product.Immediately, I know I'd found something worth trying to remedy our seat situation. It may not be the best-looking fix we could have done, but we are on a budget, and for the cost, I think the outcome turned out pretty darn good overall.It has been about 4 months, and I'm pleased to say that it has held up very well and looks as good today as it did on the day we installed it. The adhesive sticks well and is still going strong.It wasn't difficult to install and I did it on my own but realized that bigger patches were the way to go over larger area rather than trying to cover smaller bits here and there. Overall, very pleased and I recommend this product.

Pros- get some more life out of your furniture. I rescued this one to use on the deck.- very stickyCons- dark brown is more like burgundy, don't count on a color match- ok on flat surfaces like I did here but it may not look good on compound curves

Quality very good for the price. Thick not flimsy. Smooth and comfortable. Adhesive strong but able to place easily.

Good color match, easy to apply, attractive.

This was easy to use - but it was too late for my chair. Once I put on patches the chair tore at the seam - the patch put too much pressure on the weak fabric.I got a perfect color match but be aware that the tape finish is very dull. My chair had a bit of sheen to it and a larger grain so during the day the patches were visible. I recommend it for chairs that are still in pretty good shape. It's easy to use and you can cut it on any shape needed
