Working perfectly so far, and the overall procedure is very simple. Good idea to replace yours if you haven't yet, and it's worthwhile especially for the price!!

I needed a new battery for my ps vita model Pch-1101, a quick search and I found this one, which also comes with a set of tools if you don't have them already. It's just the parts, no instructions, but a quick search will give you plenty of easy guides. The tools worked great, made the swap easy. The battery fit perfectly, and brought my vita back to life. It had about 50% charge out of the box, and charged fast with no issues. I've put 2 hours of play on it since a full charge and still going. My original battery would not longer hold a charge.I used a different screwdriver, but the one provided will get the job done fine.Very happy with this battery change.

Honestly, for the price, I really can't say anything bad about the battery or included tools. Definitely are not good tools, and can be chucked after using them if you don't have better tools, but compared to other cheap repair kits, I did not have screw stripping risks. The battery had no fit problems, and the life of the battery is indifferent compared to what I remember. I may update this review in the long-term, but for now I have no complaints.

I installed this battery successfully into my PSP Go (not a Vita) with the power armor mod. However the connector that plugs into the motherboard seems to be a bit loose, but it does stay put once the PSP was put back together.If there are any further issues I will update this review

Battery life isn’t as good as oem

So far so good. The battery is charging and giving me hours of play before needing to be recharged. An excellent replacement battery for the PS Vita. WARNING: ( and this has nothing to do with the battery) installing this Battery into the PS Vita is NOT EASY. You will need to go to YouTube videos for walk through instructions. Opening up the Vita is simple enough but after that, the removal of the old battery, installing the new battery and ESPECIALLY putting the vita back together is not easy. Be extremely careful since the right and left top buttons will fall out if you are not careful and realignment is difficult. I’m pretty handy with jibs like this and I found it difficult.

Got the battery and was opening up the Vita for replacement which would only last 30 minutes in games. During replacement, the spudger slipped in my hand and I accidentally broke off the power pins on the system. I then had to end up ordering a used motherboard to save the system. I replaced the motherboard and also added the battery and now the system has a rock solid battery life. Lesson learned, be careful opening up the system. I also recommend going in from around the shoulder L/R buttons as the easiest entry point to minimize risk and not through the bottom. After some power cycles, the battery is just as good as the day I got the system.

My original battery was lasting about 2 hours while gaming. It wouldn’t lose any battery charge while turned off.With this replacement battery I can game for roughly an hour. If I fully charge the battery and leave the ps vita powered off I’m losing about 2% of battery charge per hour if it’s not left plugged in. So now I’m going to have to get a different battery and reinstall the original until a new battery is received. Definitely am not pleased with the product and really frustrated as I don’t like opening up the device.
