Convenient & Cats Seemed Comfortable
We bought two for a cross-country roadtrip to our new home, one for each of our cat sons, and they seemed content and chill throughout most of the trip. They did need a little medication on the last two days, but I doubt that had anything to do with the carrier. The materials used seem to be high-quality, they’re easy to carry as they are lightweight but sturdy, they fit beautifully in the backseat with room to spare on either side, and they can even be zipped up separately or together. We had no issues and now have them set up in the living room to give the boys a little place to hide while they get acclimated to their new home.I definitely recommend these, especially for the prize.Note: I’m not sure if it was due to a lack of space once they were zipped up inside, but neither cat ever used the hammock feature at any point during the trip. It seems like a cute concept and a nice option for the cats to switch up their seating, but I’m unsure of the practicality behind it.

Great for transporting 2 medium sized kitties
Purchased this for carrying 2 cats for long car trip. I had read reviews prior to buying this, and due to the fact that we would need to load the cats and a travel litter box into the carrier before loading the carrier into the car and didn't want the floor area to sag too much, and to also prevent any possible 'potty accidents' to leak through the pads on the bottom and ruin leather seats, I got some 1/4" plexiglass cut to fit into the 2 pads, and slid them into the bottom cushion, under the foam pad. That distributed the weight of the cats and the litter box a lot better and it didn't sag when carrying them. I believe that the measurements of the plexiglass were 19 inch by 17 inch. If purchasing the carrier, the medium sized travel litter box, 11.8" X 15.7" X 4.7", fits best in the carrier, as you can place it on one side of the carrier, and the 15.7" side will fit perfectly into the one side, placing the litter box front to back, spanning one of the side openings. NOTE: The large size takes up too much space, and doesn't fit into the carrier, even though one might think that they would need the larger size for multiple cats. (we used the travel litter box at our stops for the cats, and it worked out just fine. You might also want to consider a small compact whisk broom/dustpan set to carry with you for use outside the carrier.).Everything worked great! We removed one of the hammocks so the cats had a taller section for their potty area, and used some Feliway Calming Spray on an old washrag, placing it in the hammock, and dosed them with VetriScience Composure chews prior to driving. Since we were doing at least eight hour drives, we would need to feed them at least once while on the road. We had 2 of the collapsible bowls, and would fill them with their 2 tablespoons each, and could slide in the bowls by partially opening one of the front zippered openings while stopped from the front seat with the car doors closed, of course. Then put a bowl of water in as well, removing the water before hitting the road again.Once at our destination, we left the carrier assembled, vacuuming out the small amount of cat litter and spilled food (there's not a lot of room inside, and some litter got tracked around and food had gotten tipped over at times). The kitties enjoyed climbing inside the carrier, and kept their toys right there when not playing with them. Some reviews mentioned about the zippers being opened by the cats scratching and opening them. We didn't have a problem on the initial trip, but on the return trip, one of the cats was able to open the zipper(s) and escape while we were driving. A temporary fix was to put the closed zippers at the bottom center of the window, and when we got to our hotel, I was able to get some large paper clips as a 'lock'. That worked fine for the next day's travels. However, upon returning to the house, I had some spare replacement zipper pulls, and found that they work just great! Taking the zipper pull and slipping it through the big holes on each of the two adjacent zippers on the bottom where the carrier zipper pulls attach to the zipper, then the snap closes and the zippers can't separate. If one is going to be traveling a lot with the carrier, I'd recommend that trick. Easy and fast to secure and open, much better than than a paper clip or twisty ties!I'll update this in the event that I remember any other tricks or recommendations!

Perfect Dual Carrier
This item is beautiful - exactly as pictured. Very easy to put together and take apart. I actually use these for 2 stray cats to give them shelter from the elements when needed. I added little crate beds and a thermal blanket in each which gives them some padding and comfort for extended stays. The mesh can be raised on two sides which provides escape from predators when needed. Both cats really enjoy these even if the weather is nice, it gives them a safe, comfortable, napping space.

Perfect for my car travel with cats.
I hesitated on buying this for a while and now I’m so happy to have it. We need to routinely travel with our two cats for a 3.5 hour car trip. These are much more spacious and comfortable for the cats than our regular hard sided pet carriers. I would not use these for transport to the vet or if they needed to be carried farther than house to car - they are not very rigid on the bottom. But for the cats comfort in car they are excellent. I removed the hammocks so I can’t comment on those, but these are nice and spacious for a cat to comfortably stand and move around in.

Great work but wishes for upgrades
I'm actually buying a second one because I had taken the two apart but my car in the photo is very tall and he loves to stretch out. He got nicely into just one so I thought I would split the two up for each cat to have one. Lol he wasn't having it. I put the two back together and now he won't get out. LolEach cat will have their own double carrier. Spoiled YES!!Very nice double carrier. I love this because you can make a really long place for your pet to rest and you can leave one or both or none of the hammock up.My cats don't really get along so I'm happy that I can split the carrier for each one to share but still have their own carrier and they both have room to move around, sleep or play. Both my cats are pretty large so I detached the hammocks and put at the bottom for extra padding instead. They can stand up and not be cramped. The fabric is lovely and expensive looking. The pads and handles are very nice as well. I have two tiny wishes - the zippers are a little not sturdy but I see why they were used but one bit stronger would be nice. The netting is sturdy but I would like to see a more sturdy net which once had a bag before that had a great net so I know this could be an easy change. My biggest wish would be to have private covering like a curtain or something to give them sleeping privacy in addition to those great see out safety windows.Overall, the carrier is awesome and wish it had a stroller longwise don't get could both sit in their covered wagon for a stroll.
