Scroll wheel broken on the original mouse and replacement mouse, real shame

I pre ordered this as I thought it would look really nice with my white keyboard.The mouse is compatible with the Turtle Beach Surf II app & most of the styles or rhythms of the RGB, are locked into the colours they have as default. You can only change the colours of ones that stay a fixed colour, and they don't match what you pick at all. I had to chose a red to look more pink, but it's a very faded pink. I'm not sure why, but if you pick a pre set pink it's bright & beautiful, so it's frustrating that you cannot match the colour to what you want.My mouse didn't come with instructions/manual, so I came back on here and read that I had to download the above mentioned app. There you can change the DPI & other settings. It also comes with grips, but they don't tell you where to place them, but I figured out they're meant to go on the side of the mouse.The cord seems durable so far, as I got the wired version that's important to me. It's responsive too, but I have no idea how to fix the buttons or assign them to anything. The lack of manual with the mouse really messed me about, there was not even a QR code to show me the manual online.The mouse fits my tiny hands, so I doubt this will be as good for medium/ large hands as stated, good for me, not good for those with big hands.I feel a little disappointed after waiting so long for this to arrive, and I'm glad I didn't get the wireless as I feel like that would have been an even bigger waste of money.

Roccat (now bought by Turtle Beach), continue to use their tried and true shape with some minor modifications. I find the shape of Kone mice the safe choice and this one didn't disappoint, when I decided to come back to Kone mouse after several years. Kone II, has slightly wider and taller front, which I was a bit afraid of, but in the end it only contributed to my comfort and doesn't hamper with agility, so the grip feels sure and flexible at the same time for me.I was also pleasantly surprised with surface finish, light matte that is pleasant to touch and without any rubber means, it will be easy to clean and no rubber finish also means that the rubber won't start to peel off or get disgustingly sticky, which is often my experience with older mice.What they also made really nice are buttons. Main buttons, side buttons, "dpi" buttons, wheel tilt buttons, are all easy to reach and have pleasant light click, so they are perfectly usable for quick actions. Main buttons are easy to click regardless on which part you are trying to press down, despite their large size, so even though my fingers tend to slip towards the back of the mouse, when I switch to claw grip, the main buttons are still as easy and pleasant to click as in relaxed palm grip with fingertips more towards the front.Scroll Wheel steps are what I would consider to be text book perfect. Perfectly defined steps, with medium tension and quiet.I have two complaints:Scroll wheel click is too stiff for me, so I wouldn't be able to use it for quick action, it also presents a risk of accidentally tilt scroll wheel to the side and activating one of side tilt wheel buttons, which are much easier to click. This isn't the only mouse that have stiff wheel click, so I doesn't consider it to be significant problem, just to a bit of training to know, how to click down the wheel without activation side tilt buttons.Second complaint would be too long travel of the Easy-Shift button. While the button has pleasant click, the travel is a bit too long, causing loss of grip on the mouse, so again, something I don't consider to be usable during quick action. On the other side, there isn't a risk of activating the button accidentally.Software wise, I also don't have any complaints. I was afraid that the software would be unfinished, after switch from Roccat SW, but the current SW is easy to navigate and more importantly fast. Offering enough options to configure the mouse, update the sw and firmware of the mouse. I connected older Roccat mouse and even though it wasn't supported, the sw at least notified me that the mouse isn't supported and offered me download link of Roccat Swarm instead, which was nice.RGB can be turned off.TLDR: Great button feel and comfortable yet flexible shape. Fast and easy to navigate SW.

Ma souris favorite a longtemps été la ROCCAT Tyon (celle avec le petit “switch ascenseur” latéral) et quand elle a commencé à rendre l’âme, j'étais déçu de ne pas retrouver cette fonctionnalité… dans aucune marque !Du coup, j’ai choisis cette souris un peu par “défaut” pour aller avec mon Vulcan II (blanc) et je dois avouer qu’elle fait parfaitement le taf !Le câble est hyper souple, la glisse parfaite et la taille / forme idéale pour moi ! et très légère !❗Attention ❗ elle est quand même assez grosse et ne devrait pas convenir à tous.Elle utilise le même driver que le clavier et donc parfaitement paramétrable selon mes besoins !Bref, une souris pas loin de la perfection pour mon usage malgré l’absence du bouton spécifique à la TYON…

Wie dem Titel zu entnehmen ist, bin ich sehr positiv gestimmt über die Maus.Ich werde eher weniger auf die Funktionen eingehen, denn alles relevante ist der Beschreibung zu entnehmen.Man muss aber sagen, es gibt wirklich viele Tastenbelegungen, ich wüsste gar nicht, was ich alles drauf belegen soll. Die Beleuchtung ist auch sehr schön, mit ein paar netten Effekten in der Swarm II Software.Beigelegt sind zwei Grip-Kleber die man auf die Seiten aufkleben kann. In meinem Fall habe ich diese aufgeklebt. Kleben sehr gut, sogar nachdem ich diese nochmal etwas verschob, weil ich diese etwas schief aufklebte.Leider gibt es bei der verkabelten Variante (im Vergleich zur kabellosen "Air" Variante) kein Freilauf-Rad, das hätte mir noch sehr gefallen. Das Mausrad hat dafür aber ein schönes taktiles Gefühl.Die Maus ist insgesamt sehr leise, hätte ich mir tatsächlich lauter vorgestellt.Insgesamt fühlt sich die Maus sehr hochwertig an, für nur 43€ ein wirklich gutes Schnäppchen!

An sich ein guter Eindruck, aber wer hat sich dieses Mausrad ausgedacht? Es dreht durch und dazu auch, selbst wenn man es nicht berührt. Dies sorgt bei mir für eine Art "Waffen Glücksrad" in Shootern, und es ist eine Glückssache, ob ich Snipen darf, oder meine Maus lieber auf die Pistole wechseln möchte. Alles in allem wahrscheinlich eine gute Maus, aber das Mausrad ist mehr Hindernis als alles andere. Wenn man auf dieses verzichten will (hab es direkt deaktiviert), kann man wahrscheinlich damit Freude haben, aber für mich ist dies nichts. Geht direkt wieder zurück.Müsst ihr wissen.

Die Kone 2 ist eine behutsame Evolution der legendären Kone von Roccat.Auch die Kone 2 ist eher für große Hände geeignet, liegt, zumindest bei mir, ergonomisch in der Hand und lässt sich selbst mehrere Stunden ohne Schwierigkeiten nutzen.Die verbaute Hardware ist auf hohem Niveau, 26.000 dpi (wofür auch immer man 26k dpi nutzen mag) und Hauptswitches optischer Art. Das Klickgefühl der Haupttasten ist angenehm mit einem guten Feedback.Die Mausskates gleiten fast ohne Widerstand über das Cordura Mauspad von endgame gear, besser als bei der Kone aimo.Die der Maus beiliegenden Griptape für die beiden Seiten sind passgenau geschnitten und leicht anzubringen, hier muss man selbst entscheiden, ob man sie nutzt.Die Software ist selbsterklärend, tut was sie soll, Tasten sind beliebig belegbar, Dpi Profile sind möglich zuzuweisen.Für mich ein Kritikpunkt ist das Gewicht, die Maus hat an Gewicht verloren, da ich gerne eine schwere Maus habe, sind Auswuchtgewichte (6x5 Gramm) an die Maus geklebt worden und jetzt taugt sie mir zu 100 Prozent.RGB, ja, hat die Maus wohl, leider für Fans dieser Beleuchtung eher grob, hier kommt die Kone 2 nicht an die Mäuse von Razer heran. Da mir RGB völlig egal ist, weise ich nur darauf hin, es stört mich in keinster weise.Als Fazit, eine gute Maus, für große Hände geeignet, leichter als der Vorgänger mit aufgerüsteter Hardware auf dem Stand der Zeit.
