I've been trying several wick options for jar size candles and these are the best by far. Also easy to insert in the base (good base size match). Overall exactly what I was hoping for.Also, if you are only making a few, you can wait until the candles are slushy before inserting pre-waxed wicks and they will stand up on their own with no trouble

This is a great kit for beginners to test out and try when making candles for fun. It comes with a complete set for you. All you need to do is figure out how long you want to cut your cotton wicks and place it in the wick base. D not forget to pinch it so it stays in place. Nice that it includes the sticky dots (little small) but right size for the wick base a variety pack in size would be nice. The popsicle sticks - wick holders is nice too so you can do multiple wicking since it has so many holes. I personally will be using this for my tester candles and maybe decorative candles. Still in the testing phase but will definitely come back if I need to add more to my review. Overall, I think for the value this kit is a good starter kit. You have to put in more work but candle making is worth learning if you have patience and time. The lovely scents you can achieve it priceless and nostalgic.

I selected this roll of wick to help with making candles. I like the roll because you are able to cut the wick to the exact length that you want. It makes it so much easier to make the different size candles. I would recommend for anyone making candles on their own.
