SengledElement Classic Smart LED Light Bulb (Hub Required), Works with Amazon Alexa / Echo Plus / Google Assistant, Dimmable Soft White Lighting with B22 Base, 60W Equivalent [Energy Class A+]

This was a great 'plug and play' light bulb, being found almost immediately by our Samsung smarthub. Setting up schedules after this is child's play. My only quibble is that the lightbulb's lowest light setting is still quite bright - we'd hoped to be able to use it as a bit of a night light for our toddler who does not like the lamp going off at night (but then struggles to settle in the bright light...). So sadly the light bulb does not work from this perspective. I understand that the dimmability issue can be a problem across a number of smart bulbs but have no experience with any other types of dimmable smart lightbulbs to compare.

Bought these to start my smart home. Needed to connect them through Smartthings so that if I don't have an internet connection my house will still have a smart environment. These are in our country house and the modem with a sim card is terribly slow in comparison with our apt in the city ( 100mg). On top of this layer, I have Google Nest and Nest mini which will not work without the net. So my back up is Smarttings. Recommend these bulbs, connected through wifi, it was a breeze with Smartthings. I will order more for the kitchen. Can't wait to try the colored bulbs.

Does the job well as a zigbee light bulb if you have a Samsung hub and very good value... but these can't act as mesh repeaters like some bulbs can. The reasoning is that you might switch lights off so this would be unreliable but for me, we don't turn them off and could have benefited from them extending the network.

Definitely recommend I have 4 of these bulbs now and will purchase more easy to add to Alexa have control of dim the light from sengled app to also found out whilst on holiday my brother called me to ask if anyone was home as the bedroom lights were on he was outside my house I found out that I could actually put my lights on and off through my sengled app great to know if your away as you can put them on for a couple of hours so looks like someone home

Don't be afraid to return and buy again. I've got about 6 of these bulbs running with ST in my house, I've had to return 3 bulbs within a couple of days since they didn't pair or function properly. Sometimes, very rarely, they have a mind of their own but TBH it's probably Samsung's Smart Hub rather than the bulb.

Very unhappy! Will not connect with Echo. Account doesn’t connect, even though I’ve downloaded and sorted an account with Sengled. No WiFi connection for the bulb is appearing. Very disappointed! Especially after waiting a long time for it to be delivered!

Absolute waste of my time.Bulb didn't pair up at all and never blinked twice as app suggested.After downloading app and following instructions to scan the bar code the appsend the product did not exist and wasn't supportedThen after creating account as told to Amazon Alexa couldn't link to the singled home account and wastold please try later which i did over a few hours with nothing at all resulting.In other words a waste of my afternoon, evening and money.Will definitely not use again.

Easy to set up and connect with Alexa. I've added another bulb since. Nice to be able to adjust and turn on/off table lamps in one room at the same time. I've also used IFTTT to turn on the lights at sunset and to toggle when the Echo dot timer goes off in the Kitchen. The future is here!
