We are taking pictures of every new creation to see which look the best. I have a 5 year old nice and one of her friends visit me and I try to have interesting toys for them at my house. This one right now seems to beat out the flower garden set that has a very similar assembly design. The pieces come with a storage bag but I prefer the box, that shows right away what’s in there. Some of the pieces are small so watch out if your child likes to put things in the mouth. I recommend this for 4-7 year olds.The $20 price tag seems a decent value for what you get.

When I saw this I knew it would dovetail with my 5 year old's passion for mermaid culture. She also has shown interest in the coral landscapes sold for home aquarium use. Based on the product photos it looks like an assembled set might look an awful lot like one of these fishtank decorations. The set includes pieces to create the base, the legs (stems?) and the tops of coral reefs. The number of pieces offers a variety of assembly combinations, not unlike the building sets from a name like Picasso Tiles. I could easily see these being deployed around my child's room as decorations for her toy castle, her jungle, the bathtub, probably even the dinner table. The combination options are endless, with a decent array of parts and pieces in the box. This is a surprise for my child, so she hasn't received it yet and I unfortunately have to wait before I can report how well (if at all) this set was received. But it makes a good first impression and seems to be what you could consider "gift quality," meaning it's a large enough set that you won't feel self-conscious taking this to a birthday party without a second present to go with it.

I bought this for classroom sea theme item, it came well packaged and as described. There was also a cute white canvas tote included. I’m assuming that’s for storage… I won’t knock any stars for it because I was unaware it was included but since there is no way to really close the bag i wouldn’t use it for storage.Overall- decent item, best for ages 3-4

I really want to like this. It is a cute little stacking toy and my 2.5 year old is really into it. With that said, some of the pieces are soooo small, they could easily be a choking hazard for younger kids. My other complaint is that the plastic is not very hardy. the first day I accidentally stepped on a piece and shattered it. So if you have a very gentle child with no younger siblings this would be a good choice.
