These aren't as thick as I expected and I can see parts of the contents of the bags. I was planning to use them for our book advent at Christmas and some gifts. For the book advent, not a big deal to see through to the book covers a bit as they're not really surprises but for the gifts, I had to be a bit choosy and careful placing them under the tree. The book advent lineup did look great in these. They just barely fit some of our larger size picture books though...squeaked by with some careful handling.

We bought these to use for our Christmas advent books. I put one book in each of the 25 bags and put them under the tree. The kids then grabbed one bag each day and we read the story. In the past, I tried to wrap each book, but it took forever (and I hate wrapping). These bags worked perfectly. They are large enough to fit the size of our various books. They are really well made. I think they will last for a long time. At the end of Christmas, we put our books back in the bags and we're ready to go for next year.

I use these bags for storing and giving away fresh sourdough bread. Each bag is big enough for 1-2 loaves of bread. They're cheap enough that I can give them away without worrying about getting them back but sturdy enough that I can reuse them.

They are great! Good quality!

I bought the bags to use for bread that I get from a bakery. I prefer bread with a crispy crust and plastic bags make the crust soft. These bags solved the problem. The crust stays crispy and the inside stays soft and chewy. They were also the right size for the bread that I buy.

We used these for 25 days of Christmas books and they were great! The only problem was with one of the bags that had the string sewn into bag so we couldn’t tighten it all the way.

Pretty good drawstring bags. Just a little difficult to pull the strings closed.
